Dr. Jan Clark Harrison, MD

She misdiagnosed me as having prostatitis and poisoned me with Cipro. Then she tried to cover up her mistake by saying I was mentally ill. I later found out was actually suffering from urinary tract inflammation caused by heavy metal toxicity. She did me a lot of harm.

I am so happy I finally found a great doctor and medical practice for my long term medical care.

Worst Doctor visit in my life. New patient. Not feeling well brought past records, BPs and Blood sugars. She could not have looked at them and certainly did not listen to me when I indicated textbook symptoms of hypothyroidism (I know them now). She prescribed something for my stomach, patted me on the head, and sent me on my way. 3 weeks later I was diagnosed with diabetes, hypothyroidism, hypertension and waiting on results for celiac. This kind of error is unacceptable and could cause irreparable damage to a person who did not pursue their symptoms with a real doctor!!!

Went to Dr H with several serious issues...which she did not respond to. Specific questions were ignored and noy responded to. TERRIBLE LISTENER, talked down to me. Was arrogant and condescending. - ineffective with basic long term health issues and symptoms. Can't say enough how unpleasant the visits I had with her were.

I have recommended 4 family members to this office, they as well, have no complaints or issues. I highly recommend these 2 doctors!

To begin with the staff at this office is incredibly rude. I was treated poorly from the first visit and it continued until I quit seeing Dr. Harrison. They never return phone calls, they never phone in prescriptions when they say they will, and they have horrible attitudes. When I finally let Dr. Harrison know I would not be returning, the nurse gave me some paperwork in error and then followed me into the parking lot and cursed at me. Dr. Harrison is about as good as her staff. She did a horrible job of managing my chronic illness, and I actually got worse under her care. At one point I was misdiagnosed by this office and made to think I needed emergency care which ended up costing me thousands of dollars. In the end the diagnosis was incorrect. Dr, Harrison has the whole "country doctor" thing down pat. Do not let it fool you. She will defend her staff rather than be an advocate for her patients, and her competence as a medical doctor is questionable as well. I recommend… staying far away from this office.

Really thought we had found a gem of an internist, but it turns out we found a wolf in sheep's clothing. The office staff is absolutely dreadful. Dr. Harrison PRETENDS like she cares, and can REALLY fool you. I have never seen anything like it. I genuinely entrusted Jan and feel like the wool was pulled over my eyes. I strongly recommend putting the time in to finding another doctor. BEWARE

Dr. Harrison has been my doc (and my husband's doc) for over 20 years now. Every single visit, she takes time with me to talk about what's going on in my life, not just what's going on with my symptoms. She never rushes me out the door. She is an incredible physician who clearly knows what she is doing and stays on top of the latest research and medications. I would never dream of switching doctors and only hope that Obamacare doesn not have a negative impact on her practice. I can't say enough about this caring and intelligent physician. She is one in a million!!

Dr. Harrison is GREAT! She takes a lot of time on my annual physical and is very high on prevention/living a healthy life style. She models healthy behavior. Very good listener, never rushed, very thorough. Highly recommended.
