Dr. Jana M Bures-Forsthoefel, MD

In 2009, I had a myomectomy performed by Dr. Bures-Forsthoefel to remove a fibroid on my uterus. Unfortunately, I had 5 surgeries related to fibroids after this procedure. I finally found out after the 4th procedure that because a morcellator was used without bagging the fragments that's why I had all the additional procedures. I ended up with parasitic leiomyomas outside of my small intestine, large intestine, bladder, mesenteric lining and rectum. At no time did she explain this could be a side effect. I am very disappointed and frustrated that this situation happened to me and probably many more unsuspecting females.

The staff at Jana Forsthoefel's office its hood trash. Never go here! My wife has been going to this office for 7 years. I don't know what has changed but the staff in the office now is straight ghetto trash! Trying to fight patients... really? All because you don't want to do your job to find the insurance which is the most popular insurance in the country.... Fire your staff or close your doors! You will not last much longer with the staff you have!

This office will 'require' your SS # prior to providing service...which is illegal. Your medical information that they state stays 'for internal use only' WILL be listed on your portal. You will be cancelled, rebooked, diverted and plan to spend a minimum of 2 hrs for a wellness exam. Extremely unprofessional staff. No ability to speak with anyone as they all hide behind their cubicles and refuse to address issues.

She seems nice enough to me but when PCOS was mentioned because I was worried about infertility, all she told me to do was lose weight. PCOS makes you gain weight. I did my own research and helped myself. She also scared me by saying 3 larger pregnant women died this year already during child birth. I just got my first positive pregnancy tests. Going to go to a different doctor.

I was discharged from the practice in the middle of my pregnancy, 27 weeks along. The staff does not inform you of anything very unprofessional. The nurses and midwives are rude and unfriendly. They do not care or listen. Do not waste your time here. Please find another doctor you will not regret it.

I was a patient of Jana Forsthoefel for five years in my 20’s. She put me on a drug that I now know should not be used on a woman of 25. Her manner is obnoxious and she was very rude to me. Her decisions are not trustworthy. I’m surprised that she still has a license.

I asked to put my purse down before stepping on the scale and the nurse ignored my question and yelled for me to step on the scale. I told the arnp about the nurse raising her voice at me and all she arnp said is “that’s funny.”

Do you want your gynecologist to chastise your weight and list fast food restaurants she (inaccurately) assumes you frequent while you’re half naked with your feet in the metal stirrups? Honey, I wouldn’t be caught dead in Chik-fil-a. She made me feel very uncomfortable and I will never go to her again. I’m all for offering me helpful medical advice, but barging into the room and treating me like a child was very unprofessional.

I love her cheerful persona. She is easy to talk with and has a way of filtering out unnecessary info, but was able to connect the dots for me when others were so isolated, they didn't see how part of the body could affect the other.
