Dr. Jana Jo Wold, MD

If I could leave a rating of zero stars I would. She is one of the worst doctors I’ve ever encountered. A sub standard level of care, dereliction of duty, zero communication and utter dismissiveness of my concerns. She failed to listen to me when I suggested a possible diagnosis of MS based on my symptoms and MRI. She dismissed it as migrainous in nature. Just on 4 months later and with the same MRI and symptoms, a competent and brilliant neurologist did diagnose me with possible MS symptom, went over my MRI with me in detail explaining the difference between with and without contrast and spent over 90 minutes answering any and all questions for me. Why the disparity. Wold was rushed, non-caring, had her resident do everything and as the attending fell down on her duties. If you are assigned this “doctor” run...seek out another...she is not worth your time and with a disease like MS, time is of the essence.

She spent a LOT of time with me evaluating the effects of the stroke, explaining everything to me, looking at the MRI with me and reviewing and evaluating the med regime i was on and what would be best for me. I was very impressed with her knowledge, thoroughness and friendly manner. I have spent much of my life dealing with major medical problems and hence have a fairly indepth familiarity with medical terminology and she discussed my case with me at a technical level that matched my understanding and medical vocabulary. I couldn't be happier with her as my doctor.

She is the brilliant, dazzleing dew drop set atop the dried up cow pie that is my experience with most doctors., She was there on the saturday they flew me in. Thank God. She likes a challoenge. When she saw the m.r.i.. She knew my skull is 2 to21/2" thick with a half a walnut looking thing inside. Without calling in the concrete saws and microsurgeons operateing was not an option. She spent alot of time with me that afternoon in psycotherapy. Making shure i had a reason to live i guess. I wish i could remember but i'm not supposed to. It took 18 months before i got a statement and found this out. This means that she went the extra mile for me. Which makes her the best doctor I have ever had. And one of the finest ladies i ever met. I'm usually the patient guy that practicing physitions practice on. I'm shure she has a god given gift of healing. She was meant to be a doctor. Way to go U of U for recognizing someone special. she is the Anny Oakley of her craft and can put any man to… shame especially doctors at thier own game. I know that I would not have come through as well as i did if not for her. I am honored. Thank you dear lady

I have been a patient of Dr. Wold's for 2 years. She is a very thourough Physician. I suffered a stroke at a young age and I found it very easy to communicate with her about my experience, concerns and my future. I feel she relates well to young women of my age group which was comforting to me and I am very satisfied with the follow-up care I am recieving from her.

I really liked this doctor. She was very nice and explained everything at my visit. I have since had another MRI and have not heard the results from them. That is my only complaint

Wow. I'd googled this doctor's address to send a "thank you" note and saw the negative reviews. This prompted me to simply tout my possitive experience. I found her competent and solution oriented, and she worked well with the team of professionals trying to fix me.

I cannot believe she is a doctor. She is very condescending when dealing with patients. I don't know where she graduated or trained at, but I would wear a brown bag over my head if I was the institution that is affiliated with her.

I couldn't stand her condescending attitude.
