Dr. Jane E Corteville, MD

We had two separate appointments with this doctor. She walks into the room, does not introduce herself or indicate who she actually is. She remains standing while speaking to you, leaving you feeling “talked down to” because I was still laying on the ultrasound table. She did not explain anything that she was looking at while she was using the ultrasound. Stated she wanted us to return for a repeat ultrasound but never explained why that was necessary or that there was a problem. We returned to the second ultrasound, same experience but worse, stated she wanted yet another repeat ultrasound, when I started trying to ask her why we needed to continue to repeat these ultrasounds she gave little to no reason. Constantly had one foot out the door and did not answer any of our questions. She threw a slip at my husband to give to the front desk for us to reschedule an ultrasound and wrote the “proposed diagnosis” of our unborn child which was never once mentioned or discussed during our… appointment.

This lady had us almost termination our pregnancy come to find out from akron children's there's nothing wrong with our babies. I could go into a big ling review but I just want all those reading to PLEASE find another doctor PLEASE. She needs to be removed from her position so she can no longer hurt families. If your reading this i pray to God you find a doctor who actually cares about your pregnancy and never step foot in front of her. She has nothing but bad reviews and even other doctors have mentioned how terrible she is to her patients. I beg you to not put yourself through what my husband and I went through with this awful excuse for a doctor.

I liked nothing about this doctor and after 2 visits, will never return. She was rude, condescending, and had the worst bedside manner of any doctor I've ever visited. I would HIGHLY recommend that you avoid seeing this doctor, there are many out there who are just as skilled while remaining nice, personable, and helpful.
