Dr. Jane Geders, MD

I adore Dr Geders! She spends time with me, never rushes. She see my whole family and I don’t know what I would do without her. My daughter has colitis and she is wonderful with her. Always hands us literature to read up on on whatever issues we are seeing her for. Really cares about her patients!

I went to her years ago for a small test of which I was really scared (I get anxiety before any procedure) and she was SO RUDE to me. Was upset that I was frightened and lashed out at me verbally WHILE I was on the table about to be put under. It honestly traumatized me. I will never forget her and they way she mistreated me.

Excellent kind thorough

I have been going to Dr. Geders for years and as she has never been warm and friendly in the last couple of years she has been downright rude and hurtful. During the years I have been going to Dr. Geders I have been suffering with terrible diarrhea and Dr. Geders never seemed to know what was causing it until about a year ago she was looking at my chart and said oh I know what it is you had your gallbladder out and that is what is probably causing the diarrhea there is a medicine I can prescribed that will help with that. I was dumbfounded how could it be that after all these years she finally had a diagnosis. All of a sudden she had a realization when all along this information was in my charts and my gallbladder had been out for 20 years. I was so upset to think I suffered all these years and I kept and going back to her for this problem. I can't understand, either she needs to retire or she just does not care . It took me a year to write this because I felt I was the only… one who had this experience, but when I saw all the terrible reviews I felt I had to write this, maybe someone who has some say in who practices at Caremount can move a doctor like this out of the practice.

Dr. Geders was abrupt and unpleasant. I had waited for 3 months for an appointment and was prepared for a thoughtful review of my symptoms. Instead, she ordered some tests and was done.

Such avery kind doctor keeps her word all around great doctor

Who does this woman think she is? This morning I had an appointment at 9 am with Dr. Geders. I arrived at 9:04 because I helped an elderly gentleman on and off the elevator. I proceeded to check in at the desk where they asked me a number of questions and then I was told to take a seat. I did so until the nurse came to get me. I went into the office and she was about to take my vitals, when Dr. Geders barged into the room, barating me in a very loud voice that I was late so instead of a 20 minute visit I would only be seen for 10 minutes, and I quote, she said "take it or leave it". What doctor speaks to a patient or any human being like that? Nervously, I said I would take the ten minutes and she said, " that's all you are getting" and left the room. The nurse who was very nice to me, said that she would hurry thru the process. I was so upset that I thought better of it and decided to leave. Why would I want a doctor like that to treat me? This is the first and only review… I have ever done in all my years, but I felt compelled to do so that nobody else would have to feel her wrath. I will say this, I feel sorry for her staff.

I am writing from a second hand perspective. A close friend had such a bad experience with Geders yesterday that she walked out after waiting 4 months for an appointment. She was yelled at, disrespected and treated unprofessionally. Based on the other reviews seen here, I am disheartened that no corrective action has taken place, and that the medical profession tolerates such behavior. Fortunately, patients have a choice and do not have to.

First time I went she was extremely nice. After that whenever I tried to get in touch with her she couldn't be bothered always s poke to nurse (who is very nice). Told me to go for tests never followed up and didn't seem to care about me. In my opinion she is only concerned about how much money she can get from you. Would not recommend her at all.

Excellent, caring Dr. Went to her after I had two surgeries and still was not well. I now can control my Gastro issues better than I have been able to in years.
