I was disappointed with my recent experience. During my visit, the doctor discussed my high blood pressure and how my diabetes could affect my pregnancy in front of others. I fully understand the importance of discussing medical risks, but these are very personal health matters and should be handled privately and with sensitivity. The way the information was communicated made me uncomfortable, and I felt that my privacy was not respected. Additionally, I felt pressured regarding suggestions for my birth plan rather than feeling supported in making informed decisions. I believe patient concerns, especially during pregnancy, should be addressed with care, respect, and confidentiality. I hope the practice considers improving how sensitive information is communicated to patients in the future.

Dr. Goldman was so reassuring and caring during my entire difficult pregnancy, while always smiling. We found Dr Goldman to be extremely knowledgeable.

After confirming that I had miscarried, Dr. Goldman was extremely cold in delivering the news to me. She spent about 30 seconds explaining that miscarriages are common before asking me what questions I had, leaving the room, and leaving me sitting there crying. While I appreciate that there is nothing to be said to make the situation completely better, there is a warmth and kindness that could've been provided to help me digest and move through this terrible moment.
