Dr. Jane Lyndall Jones

Seems great at first. Great reviews online, Dr. Jones highly recommended. Office staff lacks good customer service. Worse, Dr. Jones has an aura of judgment. Dr. Jones even had the balls to without so many words recommend myself and my husband to let our 1 year old cry it out and that night nursing is not good for him. I'm not sure how Dr. Jones thinks it's her place to tell us how to raise our child. Dr. Jones is just that, a pediatrician not a child psychiatrist. Dr. Jones needs to learn her place or we will be looking elsewhere for a pediatrician. Overstepped her boundaries.

We have been seeing Dr. Lyndy since my son was born prematurely 17 years ago (she was at Casa Blanca at that time). We now have 4 children - all with some type of unusual medical condition. She has been a virtual lifesaver for two of my children, and when my kids have needed specialists, she goes above and beyond to make sure that she follows through as well. She always takes time to talk with us, and her office staff have always given us very personal attention as well - even on the phone (although I have had to play phone tag a few times). They are all knowledgeable and helpful, with everything from asthma to traumatic brain injury. My son is actually sad that he needs to consider finding a "grown-up" doctor...

The office has not replied to my calls and emails for setting up an appointment. They also failed to provide an interpreter for my deaf daughter and myself. They also are not flexible with the times-since my daughter does not get home until 330 and they refuse to see her after that unless she misses school.

I started taking my kids to Dr. Jones 7 years ago and up until a year ago, things were fine. I am not sure what has changed in her office, but when I call to get an appointment for my child for a well visit or when they are sick, I can't get ahold of a person. I leave messages, but end up playing phone tag for days before finally getting to talk to a person. I have talked to Dr. Jones several times aobut the issue, but it has not changed. Alas, I have been trying to get my kids in for their well checkup appointments for two weeks and can't seem to get a person to call me back, even though I have left several messages. I feel forced to look for a new pediatrician.

What an awesome doctor, so happy to take my kids there.

We've been going to her for almost 2 years and we love her! She is always so friendly and easy to talk to. She is great with little kids and her staff is always really nice. If I ever have an issue they are really good at returning my call and giving good medical advice.
