Dr. Jane Kay Mcnaught, PhD

RUN! She is highly unprofessional and abusive. She was found by a neutral Parenting Consultant investigator (one of the top, most respected in this part of the country) to be highly biased against one parent and highly biased towards the other parent, and was finally court-ordered to end as PC for that family. In the meantime, she managed to do great harm to the family. She lies, she refused to examine evidence and instead called a parent a liar. The investigator was shocked at the high degree of harmful one-sided bias committed by this quack.

Jane is extremely unprofessional, unprepared and over priced. She has zero attention to detail and is completely checked out and after your money. She has ZERO regard for children or their best interest. She is in fact abusive to children. She is extremely terrible and I wouldn’t want her to work with any family in a divorce situation and especially with this families with children. She is your worst nightmare and she was on “my side”. Omg. RUN

The review posted, Aug 22 2019, on Jake Mcnaught, was clearly posted by, Jane Mcnaught. Mcnaught is currently being investigated by the Board of Psychology Minn., I know this because it is my complaint. Leaving 1 positive review out of so many negative is a pathetic effort on her part. The review, barley focuses on the “Patients” experiences with Mcnaught and rather goes to a very personal level of attacks on the other reviewers, stating they must have, “lost their children” “have mental health issues”, clearly a fake review. Jane Mcnaught is a Vile Sick Woman, she has no place in this field. The Board of Psychology in Minn should strip her of her license, as they have a duty to protect the public, and if they don’t, they should be sued as well as Jane Mcnaught.

Dr. Jane McNaught was very attentive to my children's needs. She was able to understand what they needed, even when trauma prevented them from verbalizing it. I've seen her calm demeanor comfort my troubled teenager, nothing short of a miracle. She's a good listener and genuinely cares. The other reviews on this site seem to be all custody evaluations, and probably by a parent with mental health issues, which is unfortunate, but such is Dr. McNaught's job description! I suppose that kind of emotional reaction is to be expected by someone who may have lost custody of their child. We can only hope the child is better off with the other parent. Regardless, Dr. McNaught has helped me and my family immeasurably. She's a gem.

She is not your friend. She is not concerned with any child's best interest. I don't care what her title is, what her job duties result are are acting as a tool to kidnap children under false pretenses. She is wicked and vile.

Please don’t be confused if you meet with Dr. Jane McNaught. I was naïve about the nature of the court system when it comes to custody battles. Dr. McNaught is an “expert witness” hired by lawyers whose clients want a specific outcome versus a legitimate truth-based analysis by a healthcare provider of what is best for children. Don’t agree to meet with her. If you have met with her and feel that you have been misdiagnosed by her or given an unfair custody arrangement, please file a complaint with the Minnesota Board of Psychology.

This woman is a monster, she is a hired gun, and if you have tens of thousands of dollars, she will write exactly what you want, regardless of any actual facts; the sad thing is, this seems to be well known in this business and that is why Jane has such a large customer base, the lies slip off her tongue with absolute ease, and she has no regard for the welfare of any children involved in custody disputes, as long as she is paid, she will stop at nothing to support the individual writing her large checks.

A colleague of Dr. McNaught told me, “Jane McNaught was hired to destroy you. And she will NOT fail. Her reputation is at stake.” Sadly, he was correct. My ex’s family paid her nearly $70,000.00 to generate a report ENTIRELY in favor of my ex, DESPITE a Guardian ad Litem Report stating how he has a habit of crawling in bed naked with the children, waving his penis in their faces while demanding they look, and taking them to picnics with registered sex offenders. So, great news! If you’re a pedophile, you can STILL get custody of your children IF you have enough money and you hire Dr. Jane McNaught to be your “expert.” Unfortunately, if you live in Hennepin County, the judges already know Dr. McNaughrs reputation and she has no credibly in their courts... however, if you live in a rural county, the judges are not aware of her “hired gun” status and are still impressed with her credentials. Dr. McNaughes recommendations were a death sentence for my children. Literally. My 12 year old… attempted suicide twice in her father’s care within the first 3 months of implementing the Good Dr’s recommended schedule. Jane McNaught is a disgusting human who will ruin the life of a child to line her own pocket. She DOES NOT have your children’s best interest as her priority. Read the reviews. Notice how the “good” reviews are from fellow psychologists? It’s a back scratching courtesy. The honest reviews from clients begging you to run, and not walk, away from this woman are what you need to pay attention to. She is completely unethical... and highly knowledgeable. She knows just what to say to bury you, and will deliver a testimony full of lies to condemn you without batting an eyelash, for a very pretty price. I beg you, for your child’s sake, DO NOT TRUST THIS WOMAN!!!!
