Dr. Jane O Stafford, MD

You’ve all heard the blurb on pharmaceutical commercials “tell your Dr if you experience side effects”... well, apparently, this Dr is paranoid that TELLING her anything negative means that you are suing her, and to beat that, she has a henchman nurse bully you if you have anything negative to say about your health, your experience, etc. oddly enough, if this physician had a better chemical knowledge of pharmaceutical classes of meds, she PROBABLY would know better than to prescribe meds to which a patient is allergic (documented). Run quickly if you value your quality of life. She might handle small issues without incident, but she lacks depth and compassion and levels of allopathic integration

As I look back on my experience dealing with Stafford. I am saddened that I never changed doctors and suffered dealing with her through out my 9 months. She shows no compassion and seemed to care less. Her staff is just like her, they are all rude. She will judge you and make you feel like crap if you Are a single mother. I regret ever choosing her as my provider. This is the happiest time If a woman’s life, she is welcoming a beautiful baby and should never leave the office feeling judged or hurt. Please do yourself a favor and pick a passionate, caring provider. Not someone that’s there for a paycheck.

She is the best!

Dr. Stafford is in the wrong business. She shows no compassion, no understanding and acts as if she is superior to all around her. She is condescending and exceptionally rude. I would never recommend her to anyone. I filed a formal complaint against her at the hospital. After giving birth the last thing you need is your supposed doctor yelling at you because you had the audacity to ask a question. Very poor healthcare. Watch out, even if you don't need a c-section you will most likely get one as her personal schedule interferes with your delivery time.

She is the most rude and arrogant doctor. No explanation given for any upcoming procedure or action. She does not like answering questions and literally will laugh at you if you disagree with her opinions. If she is on call when you are ready to deliver and it is not your regular doctor please ask for someone else. I would give her a negative evaluation if that was a choice. This should be a happy and wonderful experience and this woman may know what she is doing but she is the worst at communication I have ever encountered. I would never recommend her or having a baby at Christus Spohn Hospital as their main goal is income NOT patient care.

I can't believe all the negative reviews I am reading. She was the absolutely best doctor I have ever had as far as delivering babies. I was in the Navy at the time and never had a doctor for long, but she was the absolute best. Very friendly, concerned, asked lots of questions which was fine with me as it seems she was trying to get as much info as possible in order to provide me with the best care possible. Hated having to transfer and not have her for my 2nd baby.

My annual exam went well even though she can be rough. Plus, I was left alone at the end. Normally, she lets you know when to leave and walks with you to the exit. This last time , I waited for 20 minutes before a nurse noticed I hadn't left. I was checked out without being told so. She seemed to be in too much of a rush.

Dr.Stafford was not prepared when coming in for my exam. Important information about my high risk pregnancy was overlooked by her. I had to constantly remind her of my diagnosis of being high risk. I didn't feel safe with her. Also, I agree with the other comments about her asking rude questions..I felt she was judgmental. I did switch doctors asap.

I read the other reviews here and couldn't believe how spot on they were with regard to this doctor's comments being rude. She asked me if I meant to have all my children. She then asked if the children all came from the same father, and then she said a lot of other really strange comments that made me feel unhealthy, unprepared and scared, and I am an experienced mother of four, She is very opinionated. For someone in the business of delivering babies, it doesn't seem she wants that many babies around. Strange. I left there feeling like she was treating me for the problem of pregnancy, rather than the blessing of pregnancy. I won't go back. No way, no how. Yuck.

Dr stafford has been my doctor since my first check up at 13 (Im 26) and I always just brushed off her being in a rush or saying snarky comments. She delivered my first son and I felt as if she was always putting me down or telling me in an ugly way that i gained too much weight. Always asking personal questions about my private life that were unpregnancy related. Now I am pregnant again and had my first appointment w her 3 wks ago and she hasnt changed a bit. Even questioning why I was having another!!! so im switching doctors TODAY. Staying w in the practice but shes not the dr for me.
