Dr Wells has overlooked critical evidence in my case. In doing so, she has emboldened an abuser with her evaluation done in haste, containing multiple errors and omissions, busy and distracted with other cases. I am sharing my story with you, so you can be empowered. If she or another evaluator has been negligent in your evaluation and placed your children’s’ safety and welfare in greater jeopardy, fight the urge to rant on reviews like on this forum. Emotionality in these forums will be summarily dismissed and ignored as “the disgruntled parent who lost”. As a parent in this process, we are forced into anonymity for fear of retaliation and impact in our pending evaluation. We have no forum for communicating and supporting one another as parents. Since there is no standard of training, no legal oversight of the evaluators (outside of their mental health license), we are blind to the potential impact this evaluator may have on the future of our family. Sadly, these evaluators are… appointed by judges often after the abuser’s legal counsel files to appoint them for your case. This is problematic, as many of the legal counsel are friends and colleagues in other forums (Metro Denver Interdisciplinary Committee, for example). There is a bias, conflict of interest and sometimes even personal friendships between the legal counsel and these evaluators. Currently, there are two forums by which you can make an impact on meaningful change. One, unfortunately, is post-evaluation. Based on the negligent outcomes of your report, you may choose to file a grievance with their operating board with the department of regulatory affairs (this is most common with the DORA board of psychologists, as many of the PREs hold license as a psychologist). Do to so, you can contact DORA by google search of 'DORA file a complaint' (this system will not allow a website listed). The second forum is to be a part of law reform. Currently in Colorado, Representative Meg Froelich congresswoman Meg Froeich has committed to introduce legislation that includes placing the child's best interest first, to have mandatory education on domestic violence and child abuse to judges and magistrates and to have accountability and transparency of judges. Write a letter and (if it is safe to do so) share your own struggle with judicial terrorism and the many ways you and your children have been devastated by it (you can find her email by a google search, this system will not allow me to list). Reach out your other representatives and explain your need for legal supports provided by this legislation, and ask them to sponsor it.

Jane Wells is a Narcissist con artist. I was sexually assaulted by a cop and she refused to put it in her report.

This woman was very easily manipulated by my diagnosed cluster B personality disordered ex-husband. She should have caught on to that right away, but didn’t. My son was coached prior to going in there to ask for a 4/3 schedule. That should have been a clue to her that a 9 year old would know that type of verbiage. Note to anyone, she suggested to me that I could ask for decision making for extra-curricular and mental health because there were several issues with my ex husband being abusive towards my son in coaching all of his sports. He also did not support my son going to counseling. In the end, when I asked for what she had suggested, she turned and recommended my ex husband be given sole decision making for those two areas. Don’t fall for that trick. In addition, she also didn’t seem to clue in to the fact that all of his advocates were former friends of mine that he aligned with and one sister that is no longer a part of our family. He didn’t have one friend or anyone that truly… could vouch for him. Only people he had clearly coached to speak badly and lie about me. In the end, it was 50/50 which she will almost always recommend because that is how Colorado is, my son quit all sports associated with his father because he had enough of the pressure and abuse and he is now the father that ignores them, put them in front of screens, doesn’t bathe our 5 year old daughter more than once in a 5 day stretch and he is a no-show to all activities associate with our daughter and refuses to pay for anything associated with her. Ms. Wells got played by one of the best in this situation and proved to be unethical in my opinion and quite easy to manipulate.

RUN- She is an alcoholic and child abuser, review her divorce court records - she was an alcoholic and was on antidepressants and still abusing alcohol, she physically abused her child and have her a black eye. She is ruthless, if you are a man RUN, she will ruin your life. Read her court records will give you goose bumps

This woman does not care about your kids. She follows the same pattern by siding against the mother and even if there is a history of domestic violence, she will hand your kids over to your beater and smile. She is a wolf in sheeps clothing and attorneys in Boulder use her for the sole purpose of her reputation. She is biased. This woman is the single reason I ended up back in court to take custody. I won. Advice - get a second opinion or demand anyone EXCEPT this toxic woman.

Her gross level of incompetency can’t be described in words. She will ruin your family. She has a twisted sense of reality and perception. Please do not use this woman
