Dr. Janel Felice Gordon, MD

I have waited for her more than an hr and all she checked was my pulse, weight, height etc. She didn’t even asked about my medical history even though I had a minor surgery before. Took no more than 10 mins. The worst experience ever

Dr. Janel was a pleasure. She answered all my questions and concerns without being biased. Such a pleasure to have as a physician. She is a very humble person with a lovely personality.

Dr. Gordon was caring for my irritable , uncooperative 83 year old alcoholic dad. She was so great with him! She had endless patience and really took her time with him. She also knew when to be tough with him. It is certainly a miserable thing for a doctor to try to care for a patient who has no interest in caring for themself, but she did it brilliantly! If she can handle my dad, she can handle anything! He would complain relentlessly about going to the doctor, but once there, his mood steadily improved and he actually came out of the appointment happier every single time. I can’t even begin to thank her!

I waited an hour to see this physician. I am new to the area, and I needed to find someone in the area to help with updating my medications and for annual blood work. She states to me that "well, I can't order all of these. This is already three visits". She went ahead and gave me my medications, but I was required to come back in two weeks later for a physical exam. I thought that was the reason why I was there to being with?! She wouldn't order any of my labs, so now I have to go see her in two weeks, get labs, and then go back in once again to receive my results. I just want to find answers for the issues I have been having for years, and I was hopeful for a physician that would care. I am very disappointed.

I started going to Dr. Gordon when my regular doctor was out for an extended time. Dr. Gordon is very caring and doesn't rush you through. She's young (I'm old) and doesn't have the experience of some doctors yet, but she has a good education and an excellent attitude. I predict she'll go far.

I can't remember a worse interaction with a physician. I waited for one full hour to see her and then had a 10 minute interaction. She has no bedside manner and makes no attempt to introduce herself nor make you feel comfortable. She coldly goes through a list of required questions, all without even making eye contact. Her "annual physical" was a joke - not thorough at all - listened to heart and lungs and checked for reflexes and a pulse. That was it..checked literally nothing else....stayed in street clothes. From there, most of the conversation was about what she wouldn't do and what needed to go on forms. For a young doctor she seemed uninterested and bored. I will definitely not be going back.
