I arrived at the medical facility before the office opened and had to wait outside. Dr. Sunwoo saw me waiting in front of the office and immediately crossed the street. (Being a black male, I’m use to this). Once she noticed that I was not moving, she crossed the street and tried to play it off by making an excuse while striking up a conversation with me . It was an even bigger eye opening experience for her when she realized that I was there to see her that day when she walked into the exam room.This has bothered me since that day and I would not return. Keep in mind that this shouldn’t matter but I was also dressed professionally and make six figures. Dr. Sunwoo if you are reading this, I hope you have changed. I was nothing but courteous to you. Black men should not have to experience that and you should do better. I hope no one else have to experience what I did.

I'm so happy Dr. Sunwoo is my primary care Dr. Wonderful beside manner, and very knowledgeable. Awesome staff as well!

I love Dr. Sunwoo. She is so personable and always takes the time to explain things & answer any of my questions. I would definitely recommend her to anyone who is looking for a good doctor.

Leaf Medical is wonderful!

Dr. Sunwoo was awesome. Just the type of doctor I've been looking for. She's smart, and informed, but is realistic about lifestyle. She took her time with me, like, seriously patient. And there was literally NO wait time. In fact, I think they took me early. She was wonderful. Looking forward to them bringing a gyno in-house so I can go to all my doctors in one place.

Enjoyed my first visit - a pre-annual physical consultation - with Dr. Sunwoo, and appreciate the clean, efficient, and friendly staff as well. (*I didn't rate diagnosis or follow-up since not relevant for first visit).

Very intelligent and down to earth. I felt comfortable sharing my health concerns with Dr. Sunwoo. I had a terrible rash that wouldn't go away for months. She gave me a prescription and voila the rash was gone within 2 days. Genius! The office is also stellar.

Doctor Sunwoo is up to date with her methods and medical knowledge. Her equipment is fancy and digital unlike my old school doctor. I asked her why she tapping my back and she replied that it was routine. My old doctor never did that once! She answered everything I needed and emailed my lab results with explanations. It's great to see strong healthcare, especially during these uncertain times in the medical field. I highly recommend going to Leaf Medical.

I work just down the block and have been waiting for the practice to open it's doors. The wait was definitely worth it. It seems very high tech compared to my other physicians' offices. Very efficient and focused on the patient experience. I did not wait a minute. I was seen immediately, greeted with bottled water. I used to be a patient with a concierge practice where I paid $1000 a year. This practice trumps it in all ways, and all I had to do was pay my co-pay. With all of this talk about healthcare reform, I wonder how Leaf Medical pulls it off. Doctor Sunwoo spent a little over 30 minutes with me and I'm really motivated to become healthier. I wish the best for the practice, they deserve it.
