Dr. Janelle Vanzandt, MD

She was very rude. Kept rolling her eye's at every answer. Had an MRI done on my head and she would not show me the films, just told me i was getting old. Changed doctors and just had new MRI'S done on back and neck and found out that i have a rare condition called syrinx that has to do with brain stem and thoracic cord. She just up and disappeared from her pratice in Little Rock, when i finally tracked her down to get a copy of my scans and records she told me that they were locked up in storage and i could not have them or get them. Told me "oh so sorry sweetheart" while laughing then just hung up on me.

Waited 8 months to get in to see her. Got there on time for appt and had to wait 3 hours (with 2 other patients in the entire clinic) before she seen me. Never in my life have i been treated so rudely by a Dr. She treated me like a second class citizen, talked down to me, and pretty much marked me down to revisit her again. When she left the room i could hear her saying to her receptionist how she couldn't wait to get out of there to go eat lunch.

When I got to the hospital at the admission desk I realized that I was there a day early. So I asked the clerk if I could go ahead and do the MRI and they yes but they didnt have all of my paper work from Dr. VanZandt. So they called the doctors office and ask Chris (her only help) to fax over the request. He told them he had already faxed it last week and would not fax it again. The clerk told him they did not have it in admissions and needed it. Chris told the clerk that he was not sending it again that St Vincent is always losing his paper work and it was not his fault that the paper work was lost. And hung up on the clerk. So I decided to call Chris to explain that I needed the paperwork to be sent so that I could get the MRI. He argued with me about him already sending it and that he wasnt sending another one. Same story as above. I kept telling him that he needed to send the papers so that I could get the MRI and that it was not my fault that the paper work was lost. … After about 10 minutes they finally got the request. He refused to let me speak to the doctor, said she was not in this morning.
