Dr. Bartov is a skilled, professional and truly human advocate. Also, from the people at the front desk on to Dr. Bartov, I felt my individual needs and concerns were studied, addressed and I was truly well cared for. I had to wait a while for an available appointment and it was well worth it! Thank you!

For a 10 min. Facetime call, my insurance company was billed $363 and my responsibility ended up being $205. All the doctor did was to go over my bloodwork results which should have been discussed in my previous face-to-face meeting in first place and for which again my insurance company was billed $363 and I had ended up paying approx. $200/-. So for a office visit and blood work discussion it ended up costing me about $405/ besides what the insurance company paid the doctor. I consider this highway robbery.

I could write a book on how much I LOVE this OUTSTANDING Rheumatologist!!! Dr. Janet Bartov is absolutely BRILLIANT, professional, efficient and compassionate. She is currently helping/treating me through the worst year of my life due to being diagnosed with a rare disease. She is wonderful at listening and addressing concerns regarding my health while putting me at ease. Janet Bartov goes far and beyond being a exceptional doctor and the world is a better place because of people/doctors like her!! The staff is top notch too! For example, Lisa who genuinely has a heart of gold actually takes the time to call, check up on me and answers any questions I may have. I HIGHLY recommend her!!!! Very thoughtful and kind doctor. Dr. Bartov really listened to what I had to say, made the correct diagnosis and started treatment promptly. She is passionate about her work and truly cares for her patients.

I made my appointment with this doctor 2 months in advance. I live 40 min from her office. I called to inform the office that I would be approx 15 minutes late due to distance and morning traffic. They said no problem. I arrive 20 minutes late. The girls at the desk were very rude to me. They told me that I can not be seen. And after asking their superior and letting them know how far and long it took me to arrive and that I made this appointment 2 months in advance and that I'm in chronic pain THEY STILL TURNED ME AWAY. They claim the doctor herself said no I can not be seen. WHAT KIND OF PRACTICE IS THIS ?!?!?!? WHAT DOCTOR TURNS A PATIENT AWAY THAT IS IN CHRONIC DAILY PAIN and under the circumstances ??? I do NOT recommend this doctor because if she treated me that way then I could imagine how she would treat me as her patient.

Yes, Dr. Bartov is very sweet, but only worried about my weight not my Sjogrens.

This is the tbird rheumatologist I visited and she is amazing. She takes her time, she listens, and she also gives me literature on my diagnosis. She is very understanding.

Unfortunately, I had a very good first appointment with Dr. Bartov, but the follow up from her office was truly awful. I have only been seeing them for a few months, but they don't return calls, don't refill prescriptions and generally don't seem to have a care level for their patients....it's hard enough handling some of the challenges with certain illnesses without having to navigate whether or not you'll have the medicine you need. You can't even reach a live person at their offices most of the time unless you say it's an emergency

I met Dr. Mapa for the first time last week and I felt compelled to comment on the visit. From the moment I met Dr. Mapa, she had a smile on her face at made me feel comfortable. She was warm, welcoming and seemed to really care about my medical complaints. While the visit did not last more than 20 minutes, Dr. Mapa was extremely comprehensive and left no question unanswered.

I just had the most wonderful experience with Dr. Mapa. I have been going to her for about 3 years now and she is always so caring. She is a pleasure to talk to and a fantastic doctor!
