Dr. Janet Linda Bivens, MD

Dr Bivens has been my doctor for the past 20years. She is a very kind, caring and knowledgeable doctor. The entire staff are always polite and professional, and I would recommend her to anyone who needs a good doctor.

This doctor seems to have really changed over the years. Her main concerns seems to be how many patients she can see in a day instead of quality time taken with her patients. I was told that the standard appointment time is 15 minutes, 5 minutes for intake and 10 minutes w/ her & if I wanted more time I need to make a 30 minute appt. This was all new to me and I was her patient for almost 24 years. Health grades website shows that she sees about 40 patients/day. Lets see 10 minutes/patient=6 hr workday, if average co-pay is $25=$1000/day. Not bad for the doctor, but what about her patients?

I broke out in a rash and was referred to Dr. Bivens practice by my ENT. I called today and was able to get an appointment today. I arrived at 12:40 - with appt time at 1pm. I was leaving at 1:45pm. My previous doctor had a wait time of 2 hrs so I was very impressed and will be going back.

Dr. Bivens is an excellent physician. She works with you to manage your health appropriately. She listens and is open to your needs and what is best for you. Her staff is very professional and all staff have superior follow through. I have referred many friends and colleagues to her practice and will continue to do so.
