Dr. Janet Christine Conway, MD

Proceed with caution. Dr. Conway was my surgeon for two years. Initially, like many other patients I thought that she was the best. She is highly skilled, however after my second surgery performing the same procedures for a second time, I knew that I had made the wrong decision in choosing her. Additionally, Dr.Clifford Jeng at Mercy Medical was the doctor who informed me that Dr. Conway had implanted pins in my heel. The problem is that I did not consent to this. I brought this to the attention of her assistant, Shanae, and have left many messages in the past (almost) two years. Dr. Conway will not return my calls. Even when I was in the ER at Sinai for pain in my heel, she did not return my call. Another patient posted a similar review to mine on Healthgrades. I would highly recommend anyone looking for an orthopedic surgeon to think twice before choosing her. There are many other good, experienced orthopedic surgeons in the Baltimore region.

Dr.Conway is top notch in her field! She listens, is knowledgeable and has a great bedside manner. Dr.Conway’s staff was excellent as well. You will be very pleased with Dr.Conway’s care! The BEST!

Dr. Conway is an excellent doctor. Has great compassion for her patients. She never rushes you at the visits and takes the time to listen to you and explain details with you. Always makes herself available to answer any questions or concerns you may have outside of the office visit. I have never known a more dedicated doctor. I am so thankful that she was referred to me. She truly cares.

She is a MIRACLE WORKER. After a leg infection, 9 months ago, this 70 yr old is, now, back on my feet, walking upright and looking forward to the upcoming decades. (Thank you, God.)

Dr Conway is one in a million. I had a knee replacement done by another surgeon and along the way infection set in. They tried everything they could but nothing worked, so they sent me to Sinia and Dr Conway. That was the best thing that could of ever happened. The first thing she said after looking at my leg was "I can take care of this ". It took some time but she saved my leg and I am slowly learning to walk again. She has my highest recommendation.
