“Family” court chose her. Absolutely awful experience for teen - who was old enough to decide whether her “dad” was safe or not. Thank God we are done with both family court and her. Do not agree to her.

If I could rate her 0 stars I would. My daughter had PTSD after Davis was done with her so called reintegration "family counseling" in 2021 in my custody case.. which I won. Davis took the side of my ex husband, kicked me out of the counseling sessions and refused to elt me know what was discussed in the sessions. However she was more than happy to send out my 13yr in tears after each session. She is nothing but a child abuser.

Absolutely awful. What a hostile person. I know a child who saw her and she said that Davis didn't let her talk, talked over her, and was rude. The child hated going, thankfully only a few sessions were had. Wish we knew about her disciplinary actions beforehand, but so glad we know now! I wouldn't trust her with anyone!

I am a therapist, have been to therapists and know plenty of therapists. I have never been to or come across a therapist as unprofessional and down right mean as Dr. Davis. From the moment we walked in she directed us where to sit, yelled at me to stop talking when she was talking, kicked her feet up on a stool, etc. My daughter has severe anxiety and ADHD and she told us that she has oppositional defiant disorder. She was telling off my daughter, telling her to sit still or leave the office. This was all in the first session! Then she said she didn’t want to take our case and we ended up walking out after 20 minutes. My daughter left in tears and we were completely upset and just overall shocked. Please please consider another therapist.

Janet Davis is unprofessional and inappropriate. She did not help my child at all , and in fact blamed her for the things going on in her life that she was trying to get help for. My child hated going to see Davis and finally would not say a word during their sessions together because instead of helping my child, Davis made her feel worse. There is a reason she was prohibited from practicing for 2 years by the OHIO State Board of Psychology.

I took my daughter to see Dr. Davis years ago to work on her anxiety and typical adolescent moodiness. She basically told me she was narcissistic and mean and cannot be helped. (really)!! Insulted her dad who is also a psychologist. They went back and fourth about who is more educated than the other. A week later I went back to see her she went ghost on us. Light was out door locked. She never reached out to tell me she can never see my daughter. She took her personal feelings towards her dad out on my daughters treatment. I can definitely see how someone called the board on her because I wish I was smart enough to do that years ago. She is a horrible un professional therapist who does not have a heart. I wish I can run into her because my daughter is 23 now and lives in Japan teaching English so looks like she could be helped. We were able to get her the help she needed from a therapist who understands what it means to help adolescents. Please don’t see her she is a terrible… therapist.

I definitely would not recommend anyone to be her patient. I didn't realize until after I saw her that she has previously been disciplined by the medical board. After having visit her, I totally understand why. Just horrible.! Do your research.
