I've been a patient with Dr. Idhe for 20 years or so. She is amazing, I feel very lucky to know her and have her as my doctr.

She's the best breast cancer surgeon in the area. Would not have gone to anyone else. However, the wait time in her office is not great and some of her office staff are difficult to deal with. I believe my surgery was delayed because the staff person did not follow up on getting it scheduled until the day I called them - 2 weeks after I was told it would be scheduled.

Dr. Idhe is a very good doctor, her office staff however is rude and incompetent. They dropped the ball several times with a family members scheduling of various tests and appointments.

Dr. Ihde is the best darn oncology surgeon thre is. Totally without ego and totally committed to caring for you and removing your cancer. Her support staff is incredible and extremely organized. Her waiting room is wonderfully comfortable and I would gladly wait hours to see her. I found myself in Palm Springs when my diagnosis was made from a biopsy done in Minnesota. I decided that surgery and recover in the warmth of the desert would be preferable to the continuous ice and snow at home. It was the best decision ever made.

I am a professor and cancer biologist and Dr. Ihde is the best- hands down. I have Stage IV cancer and she has been the key to my long-term survival. She is caring, patient, takes time with you, and is an excellent clinician and surgeon. If you have to wait for her (see reviews below)...well, get over it. Whenever an oncologist or health care professional sees my scars, they say "Wow! What good work!" She is the best. I thank her for my life.
