Dr. Janet Mankwan Ma, MD

Dr. Ma was once my physician until I was put on L.A Care and could not see her anymore. I have never had any doctor that was like Dr.Ma. She is a truly caring, very observant and and patient physician who gets to the root of health problems and works diligently to heal (as in the Hippocratic Oath Healing) not a drug pusher. I am hoping & praying now to be able to become her patient again. Dr. Ma is wonderful and the best doctor I have ever had in my life.

Dr. Ma is not only an incredible physician, she is caring, kind and incredibly attentive. Within the past couple of months alone, she has worked extra hours to see my boyfriend (who was not even her patient at the time), for what ended up being a severe staph infection. She set into motion his entire treatment plan which included his being admitted to the hospital for 2.5 days. She's also fit me in to her schedule to see me on a moment's notice for various concerns, blood work and shots and is extremely quick to reply with any questions I have via the UCLA network. She's truly one of those rare doctors who is all things combined: amazingly intelligent/diagnostics oriented, a gifted communicator as well as caring and effective. I can't recommend her enough.
