Dr. Janet Maurine Schwartzenberg, MD

I have been a patient a while. She listens and follows through. 90% of the time she is a problem solver if something isn’t working or if it might be something a go cannot figure out bc if the RA disease. She is attentive and listens and knows you as a person not just a patient. I am not a talker yet w her she is so easy to talk to she gets you to talk somehow. She hasn’t forgotten who she is and remains down to earth. She is kind and encouraging. Her staff is always consistent and there are hardly ever any changes. Yet, with one PA about to retire and an FNP now who is kind it seems. I. The amount of time I have gone which has been a while I have only had an issue w two staff members one who always ordered wrong tests and even the people at the testing center would be like I don’t know who that is and this person has since left. Plus, a nurse Sonya now bc the doctor is so kind and caring and informative when Sonya calls she is rude, doesn’t listen, yells at you on the phone, blames the… doctor for not putting notes in about every single conversation you have with the doctor, in my opinion seems to impersonate other nurses there bc she will call and identify herself as Sonya and then later you will get a message that says this is Gloria the one you were talking to. It is just bizarre. The person who takes your blood Sharon is AMAZING! She is the only person who can get me the first try no bruise, etc! I do miss Dr. Schwartzenberg not keeping up w portal messages even if she isn’t the one who responds.

I've been a patient of Dr. Schwartzenberg's for 10+ years. Couldn't be more pleased with my care and management of my RA symptoms. She is easy to talk to, an attentive listener, and a problem solver. If something's not working, she's quick to make suggestions of other treatment options. Very knowledgeable re: this disease process. I feel very confident that I am receiving the best treatment available for my situation.

I have been a patient of Dr. Schwartzenberg for 11yrs now. I am very happy with the care she provides for me. Not only does she provide excellent medical care, she remembers who I am...what is going on with me and even asks about my family, and yes she knows how many children I have! I could not say enough about her, she is encouraging and more than willing to listen if you have any of your own ideas on your care. I admit her secretarial (front desk) help is difficult, but ignore their rudeness and you will have a great Doctor.

My calls are always returned promptly and any questions I have are always explained in detail. I have been a Patient of Dr. Schwartzenberg's since 2000. I would not want to have to see another Doctor.
