Hi, my name is Janet, and I'm a Board Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner serving clients in California. I specialize in anxiety, ADHD, depression, insomnia & sleep Issues, OCD, life transition, stress management, binge eating disorder, and life coaching. I’ve been in nursing for over 9 years and completed my master’s and psychiatric training at Charles Drew Medical School. I’m passionate about destigmatizing mental healthcare, and together with my colleagues at Lavender Psychiatry, I’m on a mission to create a world where feelings are felt, respected, and cared for.

My therapeutic style is characterized by warmth, engagement, and a genuine personal connection. I believe in establishing a strong, collaborative relationship with each client, where we work together to make informed decisions about their treatment. I chose to be a psych NP because I cannot imagine doing anything else in my life except for helping those who are finding their way and their voice. I am committed to providing a safe and supportive space where each individual feels heard, understood, and empowered to achieve their therapeutic goals.
