Dr. Janet Frances Waters, MD

Was sent home with a numb face and stroke like symptoms and no answers!!!!! 3 Drs sent me to a NEORO FOR THIS?????? ... NO INVESTIGATING OR ANYTHING!!!!!!..she said all the tests were good ,but NO EMG???????? NO NOTHING!!!!!!...Now i have to find another neoro because she was soooo clueless to anything.. very dense acting....i couldve been a better Dr. than her.sent MRIs and she handed them back to me. she said nothing more i can do!!!!!!!!!!!!!.wait till my referring Dr hears about this.traveled to Pittsburgh for this??????? DO NOT SEE THIS SO CALLED DR!!!!! WASTE OF TIME!

Took family member to see her. She was clueless. If she doesn’t know, then one must be crazy. Waste of time. But so typical of all UPMC neurologists. If you don’t fit into their area of knowledge, you are sent away. Sad.

On my last visit to Dr. Waters, she gave me a brief exam and disagreed with the diagnosis given to me during my recent hospital stay. I asked if what she thought it was could explain what I was going through and she was very vague. She didn't answer any of my questions and didn't ask me one question about my symptoms or how things had changed since our first visit. I tried telling her my symptoms and she said "she wasn't seeing it". She didn't offer any advice or suggestions on what to do about what she thought was wrong. She also refused to fill out the medical forms required by my employer. I was very dissatisfied with her care and how she spent very little time examining me or asking me about what I was experiencing. I would never recommend her to anyone.
