Dr. Janette Marie Stephenson, MD

I have been seeing Dr Stephenson for many years. She is always friendly, never rushed and answers all my questions.

Dr. Stephenson is wonderful. She is extremely accomodating and engaging during the appointment. She makes the patient comfortable throughout the examination. I highly reccommend her.However, the office staff is less than satisfactory. Regardless of when I call, I wait on hold for at least ten minutes. But when I am in the office, no one is ever on the phone. They are very nice during the office visit, and are helpful in filling out paperwork.

I am very upset with Dr. Stephenson and their billing office. I went in for my yearly check up, which went well and I cannot complain about her knowledge and service. After the appointment I received a bill for an HPV test that was performed. I called my insurance company and was told the doctor should inform the patient for each test, letting them know their insurance may or may not cover it. Regardless if I should have the test each year or not the billing office basically said "It is not our fault your insurance company does not cover it!" I was shocked at how RUDE! I will not return and I hope that that others will ask their doctors and use my experience as a lesson.
