The secretary was very rude over the phone. She interrupted me immediately asking what my health insurance was. I was caught off guard and misspoke the name of the coverage/company. She refused to help me or get any more information, because she assumed her office didn't accept the insurance. I proceeded to call my insurance company to verify, and her office does, in fact, accept my insurance. You just lost business!

she is beyond friendly, I've been seeing her for years. I feel very comfortable speaking with her about any issues, very easy to speak to.

As a patient of Family Medicine for almost 10 years, I have yet to encounter anyone willing to do less than whatever could be asked of them. My experiences have never lead me to believe any of the negative reviews that have been posted about this doctor or the office staff. The greatest part of Family Medicine is I can walk in with my daughter and feel that we're in a place where we're comfortable. I've always had quick responses to my messages sent in on their website, or a punctually returned phone call to calm my worries. As a first time mom, this was crutial! Dr. Janice has always taken the time to answer all my questions, and calm my nerves about any worries that came up. As far as the wait time with a little one, the time spent in the waiting room is usually no longer than expected. The longest time being almost 15 minutes, but with a waiting room full of people, that was to be expected. The waiting time in the exam rooms can be a little more stressful as my daughter has waited… for the second time now, but it hasn't been such a big problem that I would ever consider switching my doctor's office or PCP. Overall, my opinion of Family Medicine is rather good. I would deffinatly recommend this office to anyone looking in the area for a great doctor.
