Dr. Janice Marie Teer, MD

This Dr. is a legal drug dealer!! Her DEA number as well as her medical license should be revoked!!! She has continued to prescribe my mother X____X for the last 20 plus years even though the FDA clearly states general practicioners should NOT exceed prescribing more than 4 months due to its highly addictive properties and the cognitive decline that is associated with long term use. I have spoken to Dr. Teer on numerous occasions about her prescribing this to my mother and my concerns but yet she continues to do so without even so much as a referral to a therapist or psychiatrist. Her license should be revoked. She has enabled my mother to be dependent on this drug and she is highly addicted to it at this point. She obviously does not want the best for her patients or is clearly too busy to care enough to encourage her patients to seek healthier and safer alternatives. Instead she just keeps filling the scripts. No questions asked. If you care about your loved ones DO NOT go see this… woman. Dr. Teer has taken my mother away from me! She has wrecked my family! At the very least she should have referred my mom to a psychiatrist to see if it was deemed medically necessary for long term use. She is operating way outside of her scope of practice-she is a General Practicioner, a run of the mill family Dr. She should not in any way shape or form be pretending/acting and prescribing drugs like a mental health professional. All she is doing is creating addicts and ruining lives If you want an easy prescription for X____X well she’s your gal! Dr. Teer is a certified quack!!

I went to the clinic on a Saturday and after waiting for 2 1/2 finally got to see Dr. Teer who spent only 5 minutes with me before sending me off with a prescription. 5 minutes!! Dr. Teer seemed completely disinterested. I have been a patient at this clinic for 18 years. I most definitely think it is time to move on. I will not be going back to this clinic or Dr. Teer. I also would not recommend this clinic or Dr. Teer to anyone.

I was a patient of Dr. Teer's for several years and absolutely LOVE Her! I opted to have her as my infant daughter's dr as well and she was terrific with her. Unfortunately l had to move to Tomball and have yet to find a doctor that will hold up to her care. We miss her Terribly!
