I have been trying to make an appointment for over 2 weeks now and every day I call, the answering service is on. Where is the staff?

I have used Dr. Jamieson in the past and liked her. However, I just called to make an appointment because my knee is swollen, warm, and painful, and there is no appointment available for over 5 weeks. I will be seeing a different doctor, sadly. What good is a doctor if you can't get an appointment when you are in pain?

A professional is only as good as her staff, and therein lies the problem. I made my first appointment with this doctor a month in advance and did not receive a confirmation call the day before, which I thought odd. Nonetheless, I did show up for the appointment and it wasn't in their calendar. I never received an apology but was given an appointment three days later. The night before I also did not receive a confirmation so I called them myself and was told I had already confirmed the appointment! When I arrived the next day I was kept waiting whilst other patients scheduled after me went in first. When I inquired about it the receptionist was beyond rude, telling me that they were "working as fast as they could." Their behavior and level of professionalism was UNACCEPTABLE to me so I left. I have no idea how this doctor performs, because despite two appointments I never got to see her. I would never recommend this physician to anyone.
