Dr. Jared Troy Armstrong, MD

Doctor Armstrong spends very little time with his patients. He fails to ascertain his patients medical history. If he had taken the time to meet with me, he would be able to set my mind at ease pre-surgery. He would also be able to meet the patient where they are post surgery. His reluctance to spend the time with his patients makes the entire experience a painful nightmare. If I knew a month ago what I know now, I would have found a compassionate physician.

Hi Jeff, just wanted to give you some info on my hip surgery that you could pass on to a patient on the fence to do it or not. Surgery 7/25/22-today 3/30/23 - 8 months since surgery on right hip. Results are these Back to 1.5 mile hilly dog walks daily. 1/2 hour daily treadmill. Pickeball 2 times a week for 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 hours Bike riding when not snowing This was a game changer to my continued interest in being active. No super star just an average guy back to what he enjoys. 76 years old. If you need a Total Hip Replacement you need PA Jeff Sith and Dr Jared Armstrong Thanks to you and Jared!

Dr. Armstrong and his staff are amazing! Never have I been so pleased and confident in a Dr. he has so much knowledge and he is very willing to listen. Just did my first knee replacement and scheduling for my second. No question who I would recommend!

I had a total right knee replacement in Oct 2018. Dr. Armstrong and his staff were amazing. The best way I can describe it is that the entire process was like a " well oiled machine". Very personal yet efficient. Be aware this is major surgery. The 4 weeks following surgery are miserable at best. Pain and discomfort is a given. However if one follows all medical instructions, accomplishes physical therapy, and iss patient...the end result will guarantee an improved quality of life.

As a new patient with an MRI showing my hip is ready for a replacement, he took lots of time with me, he went over the MRI in detail, he then listened to me and did some mobility tests. He is honestly a Dr. that listens to the patient not just looks at the tests. I will definitely have him do my surgery when I am ready. I highly recommend him!!

Dr Armstrong did my second hip replacement and there was no comparison to the first in relation to the recovery time and amount of pain medication I had to take post-op. The recovery was fast and the pain minimal compared to my first hip replacement. I give credit to the surgical approach Dr A used as well as his surgical skills. He is an excellent surgeon and his staff is professional and organized. I chose to go for the PT he prescribed and I am very glad I did. This is something I don't think patients should op out of.

I had a THA of my right hip three weeks ago. I just got back from a 2 mile walk - something I have not been able to do for 2 years! Used a walker for 2 days, very few pain pills, I have went back to work this week, full time. I'm convinced that the anterior approach helped me in a quick and fab recovery.

I had my right hip done in 2009 and this one was done posteriorly. Dr. Armstrong does his anteriorly. I had my left one done by Dr. Armstrong in April2018. What a major difference. I only used a cane for the first 4 days and did not need any other walking assistance after that. I believe I was on crutches for at least 3-4 weeks when I had mine done in 2009. I would highly recommend Dr. Armstrong for any hip surgery.
