Dr. Jared Leb Klein, MD

We were referred to this doctor due to abnormal blood results for our 7 month old son. Our son appears to have normocytic anemia and thankfully has no signs of leukemia and seems to have stumped Dr. Klein as well as Dr. Graham in this Banner practice. We have been told by both doctors that they're not sure what is going on. No further tests have been done other than basic CBC and peripheral smear. I have done my own research based upon on results received and came up with tests that should be run as the next step. Instead, these doctors want to wait, watch through more CBC's and not bother looking into a diagnosis. This office has been frustrating to say the least. We have been told we would receive calls back and days go by with nothing. We have even called in to follow up as we were instructed and have been patched through to yet another dr. in the practice who didn't understand why we were calling in the first place. We have been told by Dr. Klein and Dr. Graham that they are… "looking into things" and doing their own research yet no information is either acquired by them or at least passed on to us. We seem to have fallen through the cracks despite our best efforts. Bottom line, unless you have a straight forward case, look for another provider. This office has been very disappointing, at least as far as the doctors go. I would expect more out of specialists in the field of pediatrics. My feeling is that ALL children who are presenting unwell are deserving of quality medical treatment no matter the severity of their presenting symptoms and results. This was a waist of time and we feel we have subjected our son to blood draws for no reason. We could have simply sat at home and watched him for signs of improvement or decline.
