Burns School of Medicine with residency training in Psychiatry and a two-year fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. He maintians a voluntary faculty position as a Clinical Teaching Assistant with the University of Hawaii's Department of Psychiatry. His active clinical practice is located at Florida Health Care Plans clinics in Holly Hill and Palm Coast (Florida). He has …been published in several scientific medical journals including the Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA), Journal of the American Academy of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry (JAACAP), and Psychiatric Services. He presented a scientific poster at an AACAP Annual Meeting on the Pharmacogenomics of ADHD based on a research collaboration with the National Human Genome Research Institute at NIH.

I had a brief appointment with Dr. Ritter but can't say enough positive things. Dr Ritter made it extremely clear that the patient's boundaries and comfort are what's important. He emphasized the importance of not retraumatizing and that I was in control of the appointment. I'm not much for leaving reviews but he really deserves recognition for being compassionate.

Dr. Ritter cares for his parents and is an extremely intelligent doctor. He will go above and beyond for the successful healthcare of his patients.

I took my granddaughter for care with Dr Ritter, the professionalism and compassion was fabulous and he was able to work with her on her specific needs and helped so very much. Finally an appropriate diagnosis helping her to a better place in her life.. Additionally, she really like Dr Ritter because he helped her.

I have seen Dr Jared Ritter MD a few times now, I am very Happy with our appointments and the questions he asked me and I ask him, he LISTENS to me and talks over everything I ask, or have concerns with.. He takes time with me and I have Never felt rushed, I am very Happy I found him... His Staff is Very kind and friendly, I have never waited for a long time at all... I would diffidently tell everyone who ask his name and number..

Dr. Ritter is a a first class doctor. He found the right medication to get me back on track. He's the best psychiatrist I've seen. Glad to be working again and not self medicating. Time to go back to school.

Dr. Ritter actually took my whole health history and listened to me. I'm glad that I finally found a way to be on less medication AND feel better!
