Dr. Jared R Taylor, DO

Dr Taylor is my husband’s and my doctor since moving to Mather in 2019. Our experience is that he explains your yearly test results to the point and gives you options. I just had an EKG and explained results and gave me options so I decided on the 30 day heart monitor. I like his bedside manners and how he treats me as a patient.

I've had a few appointments with him now and I'm moving on. He's been dismissive of my genuine health concerns and I'm not receiving the care I'm paying for. He's a big guy, very blunt, and usually in a rush during appointments. Not the doctor for me.

Literally the worst experience with the Doctor. I had asked him for something that he refused. Which is completely up to him but he made me jump through hoops. Towards the end his answer was no. I was not upset that he said no. I am upset with how he spoke to me. Even the nurse in the office was shocked with how he spoke to me. He was on the verge of yelling and was disrespectful. He called me “whiny” and in my opinion that is not how a doctor should speak to his patient. All the other comments about him is true he is a jerk. This experience changed my perspective of Kaiser entirly.

He tells it like it is! He is straight to the point, but in a caring way. He exudes a great concern for your well-being.

In a word "JERK". I wouldn't let this guy treat my cat! Have never seen this guy face to face because of the pandemic, and he's never once actually listened to what I'm telling him. Every phone call is just a battle to even get the Rx's that HE WROTE refilled. He has not helped me in even the slightest since I've been seeing him. Simply stated the guy is just an arrogant jerk, who likes the sound of his own voice and doesn't give a crap about his patients. Not only done with this guy, but done with Kaiser as well! Tired of the cookie cutter medicine and feeling like I'm on a assembly line.

Doctor Jared Taylor seemed pretty nice at first. I had expressed an extra concern about my condition and he was very dismissive and implied how busy he was. The worst part is after my condition continued to get worse, I saw a different doctor who gave me different diagnosis and prescription that cleared it up. Also he says he had several other patience with my condition that are waiting it out and that’s just the way it is. I hope those other people realize also and seek help elsewhere.

His medical advice was fine, but when I asked if I was no longer contagious and could return to work the next day, he proceeded to tell me that “sometimes you have to go work feeling sick. I have to come to work sick if there’s no one else here to do the job. You can’t just miss work because you’re not feeling well.” Pretty sure I’m not productive if I’m showing up to work sick and my colleagues would not appreciate me spreading germs just because I have too much pride to stay home and recover. He’s at Kaiser now but I’m definitely switching doctors. Especially since he clearly thinks it’s a good idea to show up to treat patients while he’s sick.

Told my mother she was going to hurt her previous doctor’s feelings because my mom asked for a specialist’s opinion about her aneurysm.

I had nothing but a good experience with Dr. Taylor. He is blunt & to the point. Some ppl may not appreciate his candidness - I did. He listens, asks questions & discusses options WITH YOU. I guess many want an MD that dictates instead of discusses options bc he is no longer at Sutter. I amnot happy about that.
