Dr. Jarrod Stirling Wiggins, MD

I gave 1 star because I couldn't give zero. This physician was rude, smug, condescending and dismissive. He talked down to me and almost laughed at my concerns. I had to see him because the hospital would not allow me to see a mere nurse practitioner who is my primary. He has no interest in my case, knew nothing about it and didn't care to know anything about it. I was admitted to the hospital a week prior for a condition which the hospital still doesn't know what it was. I was treated with high powered antibiotics for a week for what he is telling me now was a virus of unknown name or origen. Antibiotics are ineffective for viruses. I feel let down by the hospital and him. He is a poor physician. He came across as the kind of guy whose just in it for the title and feeling of superiority it gives him, not because he cares about people.

I have seen Dr. Wiggins three times. Each time he has been very professional and kind, and so has his staff. I really like him as a doctor and will definitely be returning.

Rude and condescending. Does not listen. Does not care.

Dr. Wiggins has helped a lot. He is through and willing to listen and help make decisions that are best for me. Wait time is short, and his staff are courteous and friendly. I am very pleased with him.

Dr. Wiggins has been my primary doctor for over two years. He has always been friendly and personable. My questions are answered to my satisfaction and he thoroughly explains treatment options. So far I think he is an excellent doctor.

Has a somewhat distant air about himself. Seems disconnected from me as if other things are going on besides me. Seems distracted, distant? I no longer use him.

He is rude. He does not care about patients. He talks down to you. Do *not* use this guy for your physician. He makes bad medical decisions too. Not the sharpest guy I've met.

The only reason I'm giving one star for bedside manner is because I can't give zero stars. He is rude, condescending, arrogant and argumentative. He treated me like I was completely stupid and didn't believe anything I said. This guy needs to find a new career.
