Jarron Tilghman

After waiting 3 weeks to get in to see Dr Tilghman, the earliest date he could give me for an epidural was two months from now. This seems quite unreasonable. Absurd, actually. What is going on? This physician must have priorities other than providing relief from sciatica. He is listed as a performing arts physician. Can anyone explain what that is? Today I went to a pain clinic in Overland Park and they are giving me an epidural in four days. I have learned finally to avoid Rockhill and the St Lukes system.

Have spinal stenosis for 20+ years w/sciatica, chronic back/leg pain, episodes of acute pain. I have been seeing Dr Tilghman for about 4-5 years. He was the first doctor to prescribe pain meds w/contract, periodic drugs screens. That alone was impressive enough, but he takes time, listens, & has a reliable health team. I receive periodic injections also. Very proficient. Extra fellowship in pain management. I highly recommend Dr Tilghman.

Listened to all of our concerns , asked a lot of questions took the time to explain his scans and what he could to to help him

He referred me for test and afterwards he never once called or tried to followup with me regarding the results and the next steps for my care. And he never returned any of my calls.

I have a lot of medical issues so I've had a few dr's, but he was actually very nice and described a lot of my conditions and shpwed me visuals on my xray so I could understand exactly what it was. He prescribed me some medication, I am going to do some physical therapy and will see him again in 5 weeks. He didn't try to push surgery on me like most dr's do and he actually listened to me, which was a pleasant surpriseâ?º

The procedure he performed on me was very rough and painful. Several times I asked it to be stopped only to be told it was "almost over". The results? My pain level has increased 50% since that very moment. My throat, neck, pain , swelling and voice were and still are affected. His procedure notes and opinion of the effectiveness of the procedure are not correct. They are generic, not at all what happened. I've had the same procedure done three times before by another Dr without any of these problems.
