Dr. Jarvis Emmitt Patton

I saw Dr. Patton because I had blood in my urine and pain in my side. Dr. Patton listened to my concerns and was very reassuring when he mentioned that I might have passed kidney stones. He could tell I was panicked and made every effort to make sure that I felt more in control of my health. He explained the labs I needed to do and made sure that I felt better by the time I left. Wish he was my regular doc!

After playing tennis and not being able to walk the next day, I went into the ER and was treated by Dr. Patton. He was incredibly knowledgeable, smart and experienced but listened really well to symptoms I described to him. He was incredibly attentive and made the visit as bearable and comfortable as possible which isn’t typical the ER. He also had a great relationship with the other staff which really helped things run smoothly and fast. No one wants to end up in the ER but you couldn’t have a better doctor if you do!

Dr. Patton took the time to listen to my concerns and answered all my questions thoroughly. His expertise and genuine care were evident, and I felt reassured knowing I was in such capable hands.

The worst doctor I’ve ever been to. When he walks into your room he doesn’t announce who he is. Always was looking very mad. RUDE!!!! Shouldn’t be a doctor. I’m surprised a hospital would let him work there.

I’m 41 and dr. Patton is the worse doctor I’ve ever seen. Why would any hospital let him work there. RUDE!!!!!!!! Ignore you, don’t say who he is when he comes into your room. SHOULD’T BE A DOCTOR!!!!!! Very incompetent!!!!! Shouldn’t be in medical field!!!! I would give him a zero. A one is to high. Very unprofessional. Wouldn’t recommend anyone to see him. Don’t even take your dog to see him!!!!!!! Worst doctor I’ve ever been to....

Unprofessional. Incompetent. A lawsuit waiting to happen. Asked pt what he thought he saw on his CT scan instead of diagnosing himself. Violated HIPAA.

Was seen by this so called Dr in the ER. I am so surprised that a hospital would allow him to see patients. Very unprofessional and doesn’t seem to care about anything going on in the ER. Even came into exam room flossing his teeth. I will refuse to be seen by this person.

1/5 due to presumptuous, incompetent doctors - such as Jarvis E. Patton, Jr- who make assumptions based on appearance rather than medical history, records, or anything reasonable. Bedside manner? Only if you consider being told after a traumatic hydroplaning accident that despite your history of sciatica and ruptured disc surgery not to mention pin in hip from break that there's nothing wrong with you,. Or, worse, implying that you have nothing better to do (when you were on your way to take your grandson to his dentist appointment) than be brought by ambulance to a less-than-second-rate hospital (which would be LAST in preference) to 'seek pain medication." The ineptitude and judgmental attitude of doctors is not an isolated problem in our society, but there is a reason why such a physician is employed here. I'd argue it isn't because they want to serve an underprivileged population; it is because this is the only place who is desperate enough to hire morons who likely barely… graduated medical school. I hope there is no 'next time,' but if there is- I'd rather wait 5 hours elsewhere to be seen than be insulted by someone who should be sued for malpractice. (Did I mention after he told me nothing is wrong that he actually had a miracle happen in his moron brain and realized maybe he should perform an examination. I had, in fact, a thoracic fracture. Did I mention that the initial 50 mcg of fentanyl did not help (because it was pain from inflammation) and he automatically assumed at that point I was drug-seeking? Did I mention that the only relief I got was from the NSAID injection- NOT the opioid?) This gross malpractice will be reported and pursued to the greatest extent of my ability.

Dr. Patton saw me fast in Princeton E.R.. He and the staff were great. He order test and prescribe meds that helped me. He was very professional but also caring.

Very unprofessional,& RUDE!!!! Didn't seem to care about what really was going on!!!! Not a people person!!! Not friendly at ALL!!!!!
