Dr. Jasmine Tiffany Weaver, DO

A very frustrating experience. I was a new patient wanting to make my first appointment with Dr. Weaver. BUT before you can make a first appointment the office has to verify your supplemental insurance (only Ashley can do that). So, I waited for Ashley and gave her my member ID. After waiting for a couple of weeks for her to verify it she said that they could not find me in the system. I called my supplemental insurance company to make sure everything was ok. It was all good, so I decided to go to the doctor's office in person. With the cards in my hand and the insurance company on the phone Ashely refused to talk to them and verify that I am an active member. They can only talk to the "provider" line. At this time a new excuse came up. We don't see your secondary insurance listed on your primary insurance record. So, I called my primary insurance and of course they told me that everything is listed correctly in my record. At this point I had no clue what else I… can do. Ashley promised to talk to her supervisor the next day and try to get a special permission for me. Or better yet I should find another provider. So, I did but the question still remains why this happened. How many other people have been turned down by this office with totally valid insurance IDs and WHY? Is this office so incompetent? It certainly seems that way.
