Dr. Jason A Berkley, DO

I decided to read the reviews after having 4 appointments with Dr. Berkley. My first was at Linden Surgical Center for L3 Injection as he came recommended by my Spine Surgeon, then at his 3rd Street for an EMG evaluation on my arms and neck, finally in clinic at his 444 San Vicente location and just yesterday again at the Linden Surgical Center for my bilateral sacroiliac injections. Normally, I criteria for having a physician care for me is pretty intense, I’ve had 7 back surgeries (I fractured my spine) and I require my physician give me a personal cell phone number, and email address that I can have a direct conversation if need be, and professional bedside manner- I can say hands down that Dr. Berkley has proven to be an amazing, highly educated and approachable physician. He has had amazing bed side manners from day 1. Yesterday while waiting for my procedure, yes the curtains are paper thin, I heard Dr. Berkley speak with two other patients, he flat out told one patient, if… you are feeling good today from the last set of injections - go home! Why do you want to waste your money if you feel good! The other patient had not stopped her required blood thinners in time and Dr. Berkley flat out said- I don’t feel comfortable putting you in a position that can jeopardize your recovery and health. This makes me feel confident in knowing Dr. Berkley does care about his reputation, and our health as patients. The best part is his follow-up, if he can’t call someone from his office does, and that makes all the difference in the world. I am very glad Dr. Berkley was referred to me and I am looking forward to the amazing work we will do together to continue to get me to a painfree life without daily opiates usage. (2 years and counting)

Dr. Berkley is excellent. He was so knowledgeable, friendly. Everything went so smoothly. I always felt I was in the best hands for dealing with back pain. I highly recommend Dr. Berkley.

Dr. B is bizarre and rude. He seems to have the knowledge of a very average physician. I only had one appointment with this strange person.

I have had an excellent experience with Dr. Berkley every time I have seen him. I am very confident in his skills and experience. I like his bedside manner. I find him very friendly and professional. I did not feel rushed and sensed genuine concern for my condition and a real desire to help improve things. He is very responsive and quickly responds to emails. I highly recommend him.

I have been dealing with pain management for the last six years and Dr. Berkley has played an extremely important part in the process of trying to achieve the highest quality of life possible. Dr. Berkley is a true partner in treatment, who is always willing to listen and not afraid to push me when needed. He has played an integral part in my pain management helping me get the highest quality of life possible in my situation. He is by far one for the most compassionate, competent and forward thinking doctors that I've met. I have FULL confidence in recommending him to anybody.

Dr. Berkely's personality was weird. He has a sarcastic way of speaking. Would not recommend him to anyone.

I have to say that I have been to doctors for my serious back problems and Dr. Berkley was right on about what should be done to help me feel better. I wish I had seen him first. He listened to me and I had such confidence in him that I knew I had found the right doctor and that is not an easy thing to do. BTW, I have been to see him 3 times and never waited more than 15 minutes.
