My virtual was with Dr. Denbo. Very caring, pleasant, and thorough. Couldn't ask for a better doctor.

Dr Denbo took the time to thoroughly review all the follow up issues from my surgery, answered all my questions and did not rush through the consultation.

The only issue that I had was that I had a recent MRI and even called the radiology place myself to make sure that they sent a copy to him and he was going to go over it with me at the visit but he did not have the results..I had to read them to him as I had gotten a copy.

I am very pleased that my case was given to Dr. Denbo. It was clear from my first appointment that he is very knowledgeable in conditions related to the gastrointestinal system. I believe he worked as an instructor prior to coming to Moffitt, and his patients benefit from that, because he doesn't just tell you what the tests say or what he thinks. He educates you so you better understand your condition. For example, he not only took the time to view the CT scan images with my husband and me, but he also taught us how to make sense of CT scans in general and showed us exactly where my tumor was located. My surgery went well and I learned that his bedside manner is also pleasant. Then, when it was necessary to coordinate my post-op appointments with the sarcoma team, he was flexible on short notice, despite the fullness of his schedule on that particular day. I feel optimistic about my situation because of my confidence in Dr. Denbo and in Moffitt.
