Took care of all pain!!

Dr Ferrel was very straight forward from the first appointment that he would reccommend surgery. He apologized for that thought. But given the situation, that was what was needed. This review is exactly 3 weeks after the surgery. From my perspective and my families perspective, the surgery was a total success. The amount of pain even after the surgery was less then i was experiencing before the surgery. His bedside counldn't have been any better. One of the best doctor's that i have ever had the pleasure of being around. I would definitely reccommed Dr. Ferrel for any spinal surgery that would need to be done.

He performed a surgery that reversed 16 years of partial paralysis. He had a tough task with my back and performed better than anyone else could have imagined.

Dr. Ferrel is absolutely amazing! I suffered back problems since 2019 and had two prior disc surgeries with another surgeon and still had horrible back and nerve pain. I chose to switch to Dr. Ferrel and was one of the best decisions I have ever made. I went to him in the Fall of 2021 with horrible pain worse than I ever had. I ended up in the ER and through bloodwork, they discovered I had a Spinal Staph Infection. I was in the hospital for 3 weeks and then 6 weeks of IV antibiotics at home. I knew I could not live my life in this pain and Dr. Ferrel and I made a mutual decision I had to get a back fusion on L5-S1. I love to work out and have a very active lifestyle and knew surgery was my only hope to get my life back. I had never felt so confident in a Doctor in my entire life! He helped me every step of the way and now I am 3 months out from surgery and pain-free! He is the most caring, compassionate doctor and I believe the best back surgeon in Columbus! His staff is… also amazing and Brittany helped me so much! He was truly God sent for me and I am very grateful to him for giving me my life back!
