Thanks to Dr. Epker, I have been able to overcome symptoms of depression and live a better life. He listens well, is empathetic, and has helped me come to a better understanding of myself and my problems.

I have been to numerous therapists over the years and did not benefit much from any of the treatment I received. I had given up on therapy until a friend recommended I see Dr. Epker. I decided to give therapy one last try and am so glad I did. He helped me through things I have been unable to deal with for many years. I recommend him highly.

Dr Epker is a kind and empathetic psychologist who conveyed a caring and professional attitude. He helped me learn ways to cope with difficulties in my life and I am grateful for the care I received. He was on time for appointments and the office was comfortable. Staff were helpful, as well.

The Old Shell Rd office is NOT wheelchair friendly! 1st I didn’t see any handicapped parking spaces at all. 2nd there is a delapidated brick sidewalk in the front but the ramp is on the side of the building with no sidewalk leading to it so you have to get in the dirt drive that leads around back which was mud today after yesterday’s rain. When you get to the ramp there is about a 2-3” transition which all my chair wheels did was spin in the mud so I wasn’t able to get into the building/converted house. When my husband went inside to let them know that I can’t get in the building the receptionist didn’t even offer to try to reschedule me at another office which is really accessible. ADA compliant this location is Not!

was referred to him by a practice. not realizing he was on their staff. had I been informed of this I would have went elsewhere. the only way he gets any clients. He was quite late rushed a consult was supposed to be a Hour was less than 30 minutes. He fabricated things that were provably false and untrue and was dumb enough to put it in writing calling it a report based information given by me in great detail. Which was really quite the opposite. The fact that Epker would fabricate and outright slander someone make a report with false information. Not backed with any documentation and of any other kind. Proved to me A honorable Discharged Veteran, who held Top secret clearances. a Degree in Computer electronics and robotics, level 2 NDT Inspector in industrial testing. HVAC and Refrigeration Licensed Contractor, business owner. Hold certifications in communications and security system installation and repairs. That Epker is a complete fool. and will be hearing From… the board of examiners of Psychology in alabama for false reporting, ethical and Conflict of interest violations. not to mention a possible slander suit from me.

He is very certified he knows exactly what he is doing he knows exactly what to say exactly how to make you feel better on our level that I don't understand he makes suggestions that are hard to take and he's able to pull out things that wouldn't have thought would have come out I suffered through a lot of pain and trying to get to the bottom of it he is wonderful at his job highly recommended
