Compassionate and trustworthy

When I asked questions about meds, he didn't really know answers, and suggested that I shouldn't be on meds. It was bad medical advice based on lack of knowledge and laziness. He did not remember what I told him, and therefore made bad decisions. I generally felt he was apathetic, somewhat condescending, and not very smart.

A great doctor, very patient-centered and responsive. Staff on phone and at office are friendly/helpful.

We saw the doctor as part of the Memory Maintenance Program at UCLA and was extremely grateful not only for his service, but his compassion in helping my wife though the difficult diagnosis of her dementia. We were at a loss before coming to UCLA. Dr. Small was also pivotal in getting her on the right track. Dr. Jail provided world class service and even offered to continue caring for my wife after she completed the program.

I found Dr. Jason Jalil lacking in several crucial areas. He quickly skimmed my paperwork with any real attunement. Somewhat condescending and lacks professionalism. He is a junior level doctor in need of more training.

Doctor was very helpful with my mother who started having memory issues a few years ago. He helped with diagnosis and getting her medications, also referrals to programs to help my family better understand her sickness. He is compassionate and you can tell he cares about patients. Very nice, always smiling, answers all my questions. Staff at UCLA also very nice and helpful. Parking not easy.
