Dr. Jason Karl Kemberling, MD

Dr. Kemberling was TREMENDOUS from consult to discharge. I was beyond impressed by his clarity, professionalism, and humor. A vasectomy is by no means enjoyable, but he made the entire process the best possible. Absolute highest recommendation!!

My husband had a kidney biopsy on March 1, 2024...still don't have results. Had to make our own appointments for biopsy....NO ONE AT FRONT DESK... . WAS GIVEN PHONE NUMBER AND WHEN TO MAKE APPTS ON A PIECE OF TORN OFF NOTE BOOK PAPER...HOW PROFESSIONAL IS THAT?.. DON'T HAVE RESULTS BY TOMORROW...WILL CONTACT STATE AND FILE A COMPLAIN!

The staff were wonderful, Jason Kemberling was not. I attempted to explain that I very much did not want to hear the details of the surgery as it would cause me extreme anxiety and stress, but he instead cut me off and threatened to end the session then and there. I attempted to try explaining another way, he outright ignored my concerns and spent 35 minutes going over "his" special technique that he came up with for performing the surgery in excruciating detail. When we got to the exam portion, he stated that his technique might not be able to work because I was too tight, but he didn't even offer the original technique (double incision) his was based on, regardless of it likely working better for my case. In short, the staff are friendly, Jason Kemberling is so full of himself that he would rather harm a patient than do anything other than his method.

Office would not return calls or answer phone. Multiple times Dr. Kimberling would not come into room and give comments at the door, under 2 minutes. Visit summary was not what I experienced. Told to check internet.

Dr Kimberling was pleasant if he would see you. Multiple appointments did not come into exam room. Office does not return calls and frequently say do to phone issue. Also will not return messages on their portal.

I think he can be better, but I m satisfied most of the time.

I contacted Dr. Kemberling because of all the great reviews and his expertise. I waited over a month to see him. One week before the appt his nurse Mary calls to tell me he sees no reason for my consult because I do not have a urological issue. She reviewed my scans and sees no need. I tell her my ultrasound shows I have a floating kidney. She denies seeing any proof of that. I explained to her that I have the ultrasound report in front of me where it states my kidney is up against my abdomen. Crying, I begged for the Doctor to see me because I have been mostly bed bound for months, cannot urinate right, and in constant pain in abdomen where kidney now resides. She then tells me to send copy of ultrasound so I fax it immediately. When I call back to see if they will now do my consult she says no and tells me to go back to the previous clinic that did the ultrasound. Now I have tonfly to Oregon to see a urologist there who is capable of surgically fixing my kidney. It is ridiculous. If… Dr. Kemberling does not have the skills to fix a floating kidney he should say so instead of rejecting patients outright with no explaination and leaving them desperate for help to the point they have to leave the state to get it.

Dr.Kemberling has been such a blessing to me. I had kidney cancer in 2014 and he properly diagnosed my condition and verified it was cancer and then skillfully removed one of my kidneys and I am still cancer free 4 years latter. He is caring and very skilled and takes the time to explain things so I can understand them.I credit him for saving my life and he has done follow up visits for the past 4 years so I am assured I am still doing well. Thank you dr. Kembering. I rate you a 5 out of 5.

Going to the doctor is not everyone's favorite thing to do especially a urologist. Dr. Kemberling always puts me at ease with his big smile. He explains things in a way that I can understand. He's my favorite doctor that I see and I have a number of doctors I see regularly.

My journey with Dr Kemberling began with the "strong" referral from my general practitioner. I had been passing blood and unable to urinate. Moreover, it was determined my enlarged prostate was irregularly shaped and yes I had originally ignored the symptoms far longer than I should have. I mean, us old guys (55 yrs) have these issues - right? Well, my bad for having allowed the situation to become this complicated. After a couple of years of medications prescribed by Dr. Kemberling it was time for laser surgery. Yes, I got a great result despite the healing process being long. One must understand the process of treatment was complex and wasn't as simple as say "repairing" car. The incontinence that followed surgery was troubling and affected my self confidence negatively for nearly a year. Through out the journey Dr Kimeberling was attentive, supportive and always patient even when I wasn't in the long recovery process. He is a true professional and I believe one the… best Doctors I've met. While the outcome of medical practice and treatments varies from case to case he is, without a doubt, the best Dr to have in your corner. I am grateful for his knowledge and skill used in my treatment.
