Dr Mallin was very thorough and answered all of our questions so that we understood what he was telling us. He was very kind and reassuring.

Absolutely wonderful doctor in every way! I had gone from GP to cardiology, to emergency medicine physicians, to internal medicine physicians, to Otalringologists for frequent, worsening, dizzy spells and bouts of vertigo leading to anxiety and panic attacks. None could pinpoint causation. Visiting with Dr. Mallin, we went over history, he listened to my experiences and symptoms. He did some tests and spent a good amount of time with me and came to a diagnoses of Manier's, (Endolymphatic Hydrops). This turned out to be the correct diagnosis after two years of doctors saying it was BPPV, or transient vertigo or motion sickness, blood pressure issues, or anxiety as primary cause (all understandable guesses as to root cause, but incorrect). Now with the correct diagnosis we are working on a treatment plan. Dr. Mallin is kind, caring, empathetic, patient and takes time to listen to his patients. He is so concerned with my well being, he even called me a week later just to see how the meds… were working and understood my struggle and concerns with the side effects. I cannot stress enough how kind and reassuring he is about my condition, overall well being and total health. I noticed on his online bio that he is trained in primary care (GP), Internal Medicine, Neurology, and Psychiatry! This explains his in depth knowledge and his caring nature. I also see a colleague of his in the same office, a neurosurgeon and am impressed with their offices, their staff, and the comfortable environment at CHI Good Samaritan. Please, his specialty is neurology but his expertise goes far beyond. So, if you need a friendly, highly trained, caring neurologist, call Dr. Mallin. I think you'll be as impressed with him as I am. Five stars for this doctor, he is amazing!

I was tried on one preventative and one emergency med for migraines after my stroke they didnt work well and he would not try anything different. A lot of pain was caused by his short sighted closed view on it. Felt like a number not a person
