Dr. Jason Mensah, DO

This is the most unprofessional, unorganized, lazy office I have ever had to deal with. I've been going here for a few years, and it is ALWAYS a problem. Their front office staff is rude IF they actually answer the phone. If you leave a message, they will not call you back. Their provider turnover rate is alarming. I saw a different provider almost every time I went. They took FOUR MONTHS to send my insurance and pharmacy a prior authorization form, even though I called to check on it multiple times. Then, after all that time, they still refused to send the pharmacy the prescription, a prescription I have been taking for over 5 years and had been trying to get refilled for several months. They will not take responsibility for their multitude of mistakes, much less take steps to fix them. The phycological well being of their patients is clearly not their priority.

Excellent office staff. Sade was so very understanding and helpful . First impression of Dr. Mensah...hopeful.

My son is currently a patient of Dr. Mensah. Dr. Mensah is a very caring, understanding, and compassionate doctor. Dr. Mensah is always available, and have all the answers to all my questions. Dr. Mensah has an awesome staff. The front office staff, Sade, and Mrs. V are very very kind, helpful, and very excellent at their jobs. I'm am very impressed with front office staff. Dr. Mensah has a good nurse. If she is unavailable she will return your phone call asap, the same day. Dr. Mensah comes very highly recommended.

While I’m talking to Dr. Mensah he’s looking at his computer and then says, “huh?”. How comforting! I don’t think I’ll be his patient much longer and I certainly won’t recommend him. Starting today I will be looking for another psychiatrist.

Referred ct here but office staff would never return call.

Refilled online generic med instead of name brand.(allergic to generic). Didn't seem to be interested in our conversations. Didn't feel comfortable with the fact he had employee listening in on our conversation on speaker to type notes of our visit. I was really hoping for better.

I recently had my first visit with Dr. Mensah. I have had numerous years of physciatric care. I moved to Texas for my husband's work assignment and was very hesitant to establish a new doctor. Dr. Mensah was very pleasant and helpful and made me fill comfortable however, his staff was not at all professional or courteous. I have had nothing but problems since my initial visit with trying reach him, verify my next appointment date, discuss my medications and have been treated very rudely by his nurse. I am going to my next appointment soon and really hope that I do not have to terminate my care with such a exceptional doctor due to my uncomfortable feelings that I feel when dealing with his nurse.
