I am autistic. They were playing loud annoying music in the waiting room. I was triggered like fingernails on a chalkboard. I asked them to turn it off or down. They turned it down but not enough. They said there was no way to turn it off. I started to leave then explained I had waited over a month for the appointment and surely there was a way to turn it off. They again said there was no way to turn it off. I again said sure there must be. They then turned the music all the way down. I calmed down and was filling out paperwork. Then they announced that the doctor would not see me because my reaction to the music had upset another patient. I explained that I was calm now and filling out paperwork, but they didn’t care. These people don’t care about people. How can they possibly be any good at anything they do.
