Dr. Jason Robert Sebesto, DO

After suffering from a traumatic concussion, a year later the conditions have severely worsened. Now, I can no longer do most of what gave meaning to my life & more importantly for those I do it for. I would never write such a review but over the past 2 weeks I kept feeling as it was necessary. I am too young to now not be able to run in a marathon, to write due to the inability to recall simple words from a vocabulary that was extensive prior to this & to barely resemble all that I once was. After years of passionately attaining my own doctorate degree, it saddens me deeply to have found myself in the care of one of "too many" doctors today that chose their path for reasons outside of the ethical codes they agree to.

Dr. Sebesto has shown considerable attention to my progress in dealing with Parkinson's and he has made very helpful referrals for DBS surgery and followup.

After being struck by an out of control skier and suffering from severe headaches for nearly two weeks I went to see Dr. Sebesto. I had been to this same clinic many years ago when I suffered a broken neck and needed surgery. Since my results from that were so good, this is where I turned to for help again. He could not have been more condescending and belittling to me for wasting his time. He never even asked where my fusion was or any questions related to my previous injury. Never in my life have I been treated with such little respect by a medical professional.

Never read my records, dismissed anything I said, a complete waste of time and money.

I've been struggling with almost daily headaches for over a year. I saw Dr. Sebesto two times for no more than 5 minutes each...how is it possible to adequately evaluate a patient in so little time? I had to fight to get an MRI to rule out a head/neck injury from a hiking accident I had around the time the headaches started (he never asked if I had any such injury by the way in his very brief evaluation). He said "I'll order it but it's not going to show anything". Yeah, hope you're right, but seems like a better place to start then trying every migraine medicine and Botox without trying to understand the cause. Physical therapy has helped a lot, not the headache medications he prescribed to me. He said that if the medications didn't work, we would talk about depression. If I'm depressed, it's because I have headaches every day and my doctor is awful, further evidenced by the fact that I had my MRI four weeks ago and Dr. Sebesto still not called with my results. I called the office… after a week of waiting, they said the results were in and that, bizarrely, they ask the patient to call for the results, and that he would call me back. For starters, they never asked me to do that in the first place and furthermore, why should the PATIENT have to call for their results? How am I supposed to know if they're ready? Still waiting for that call back. I guess I'll get the results from the hospital myself and bring it somewhere else since clearly Dr. Sebesto doesn't have the time or desire to care.

Dr. Sebesto did not listen to all my concerns. It was a short visit, he did not took enough time for me.

I saw Jason Sebesto in the Boulder Community Health Neurology office in Boulder, Colorado. He was very short with my appointment. He was a bad listener and interrupted me many times. He focused on one of my concerns, and wouldn't listen to the rest of them. I never felt respected or heard. He didn't help my health progress, just referred me to another doctor, brushing me off. The appointment was a failure for me. I will never go back to this doctor.
