Dr. Jason Henry Stanford, DO

I broke my fibula and tore several ligaments, and ended up at the nearest hospital. Dr Stanford, who has a practice located adjacent to the hospital, operated, but refused to look at the ligaments and only operated on the bone. Eight weeks of no weight bearing, and I am ok to walk again; three months go by and my ankle is not healing. I go to see another doctor and he immediately notices the bone was not lined up correctly with the hardware from the first surgery, and shows me how I have little left and with the misalignment, I would be looking at a total ankle replacement in a few years (I’m 37). Long story short, after a second surgery, 8 weeks of non weight bearing, and just two weeks of walking and PT, I am already better off than I was five months after the first surgery. During the whole time, I always felt like my concerns were not listened to, but carried out with the practice because I started there. I feel like five months with limited mobility and $38k were… wasted from poor care. I sincerely hope this doesn’t happen to anybody else.

Dr. Stanford did my total right knee replacement and a reverse right shoulder replacement, very pleased with his work. Very professional and at the same time, compassionate, caring and takes the time to listen to your concerns and explains things to where you can understand. Would recommend him to anyone.

I recently had a hip replaced by Dr. Stanford and have been very pleased with the progress I am making on my recovery. I have had no set backs and just had my six week check up with Dr. Stanford. I am able to return to my normal work schedule! I give him and his team a five star rating!
