Dr. Jason Israel Steinfeld, MD

Unfortunately I had a terrible experience and I would never recommend this doctor. I brought my children to this office for routine annual eye exams. Dr. Steinfeld codes one of the exams as non-routine because he apparently found an eye irritation (which did not require any treatment nor follow up, and did not bother my child before or since the appointment). Because it was coded as non-routine I am being billed for a routine eye exam that should have been covered 100% by the insurance company. Completely ridiculous and we will never be going back to this office again.

The doctor has been great, the staff not so much. The staff is on their phones constantly, one calls you honey baby or sweetheart instead of your name. The front desk always messes up appointments and depending on who you are makes a difference if they get you in the same day and time. The office is not ADA compliant, waiting room has no space for wheelchairs. the Exam Rooms are not wheelchair accessible nor are any of the testing rooms. The Handicap ramps need to be fixed, falling apart with large missing concrete. No easy access to building, no buttons to automatically open doors

Office staff has an attitude they make you keep a credit card on file if you didn’t want to do this you couldn’t keep your appointment I saw two the doctors in this group not impressed

Dr. Steinfeld has treated me for glaucoma and cataracts. He might not have a warm bedside manner, but he is very knowledgeable and I trust him implicitly. I now have 20/20 vision because of him.

A crook who lies to get your going there again.

The billing staff made an error on filing the claim and made us pay even though it was their fault. The staff was abrasive and nasty. The original billing people we dealt with said it was their problem and that we were not responsible for the charges. Over two years later we are getting bills. The people that we dealt with at the doctors billing department are gone and new high pressure nasty people are there and they refuse to honor the prior billing agents agreement with us. Bad business. Not to be trusted. The doctor will not return our calls.

This doctor is not compassionate, and does not explain anything. He seems very arrogant and could care less about patients.

Very compassionate and thorough, I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Steinfeld!

I thought the experience overall was pleasant. All staff treated me with respect and doctor Steinfeld took time to explain what my condition was and how it was effecting me. I have scheduled another appointment for laser eye correction and I expect good results.

Horrible doctor. Does not care about the patients. Very rude and full of himself. He never answered my questions, was very rough, and diagnosed me with something I did not have.
