Negligent treatment...I took my 16 year old daughter for a scoping of her throat, it was done through her nose and when she told Dr. Surow she could not "do this" and "was going to faint" he did NOTHING just sat there. Had he taken the correct medical action for a vasovagal response to an object being inserted in a patients nose and SIMPLY layed her back in the chair and called for assistance, my daughter would not have ended up in the ER with 32 stitches in her forehead and in her upper lip, she would not have missed her ACT testing which took place the next day, she would not now have PTSD as a result of this experience and she would not require further surgery on her lip. The office did NOTHING, not a call to follow up, not to check in on my daughter, NOTHING. The doctor sent a self serving CMA letter totally misstating the facts about what he did NOT do. DO NOT GO HERE EVER, RUN don't walk. The only thing they did was tell me they would not charge me for the office visit while my… daughter was being taken out on a stretcher to an ambulance..

Dr. Surrow is excellent—a top doctor clinically and a caring human being. He has treated my daughter over 6 years, and performed her adenoid surgery. He is consistently extremely thorough, listens carefully, and explains medical details more clearly than most doctors. He is great with both children and their parents. Wonderful bedside manner both in the office and at the hospital. You receive a report at check-out detailing the exam and next steps. I highly recommend him—we’ve seen many specialists and he is tops.

I brought my 4 year old to see Dr. Surow and couldn't be happier with the service. He was excellent with my son and made him feel very comfortable. Dr. Surow asked questions about my son's situation and then gave me his professional opinion with a very thorough explanation. I was very pleased with the staff as well as the cleanieness of the office. I will definitely continue bringing my son to see Dr. Surow for future appointments.

Dr. Surow is an excellent doctor. Great with children and very very knowledgable. Everything he said that was going to happen post op happened exactly when he said it would. Office is kind and accommodating. Would highly recommend. He is an excellent surgeon!
