Dr. Jason Leonid Swerdloff, MD

I saw Doctor Swerdloff early this year (2023) for a consultation for a lower facelift. I am a current patient at Bay Dermatology and the NP had recommended that I see him. I have spent money and time on neurotoxins and lasers but I knew that it was time for a surgical intervention. I looked tired and my lower face had significant laxity. Dr. S spent a good deal of time with me discussing what could be done and what to expect. He recommended CO2 laser, lower facelift and upper blepharoplasty. The cost was very reasonable and I decided to schedule the procedure. The staff is warm, professional and they never make you feel rushed. A few days before the procedure expect to see Dr. S with the person who will be taking care of you for a preop visit. Melanie the nurse took photos and provided prescriptions and extensive written instructions. This gives you time to get your home ready as you recover. The day of the procedure I took the preop medication and my SO drove me to the office. There… is a private entrance which I appreciated. I seriously have little memory of the day. I experienced no pain or awareness as the procedure was done. Once home I did everything on the postop instructions (ice bags/frozenpeas), soft food, elevating my head and just resting. I saw Dr S the next morning (thanks again to the private entrance). He removed my bandages, checked all of the incisions and rewrapped the bandage and sent me home to rest. I knew I would be indoors for 7 days so I planned accordingly. That night I vomited and I texted his cell phone number (yes he gives you his cell phone number!). He called me right back (it was Friday night!) and after talking he told me to discontinue the prophylactic antibiotic. That stopped the nausea and he called in a prescription just in case. He checked on me the next morning too. I was able to shower that morning and it felt great. I had steri strips on my eyelids but otherwise just had to be careful with how the shower water hit my incisions. It was easy to reapply the bandage and I stayed away from the mirror. I only took pain medication once and found that Tylenol helped best. I saw Dr S 1 week after surgery. I was swollen and my upper eyelids were reddened but I was now able to drive and resume other activities. I wore a baseball cap and sunglasses when I was out but I felt great. Two things: If you have been on the fence about having this done I recommend going for a consultation. If you weren't sure who to see, go see Dr Swerdloff!

Dr Swerdloff is amazing. I cannot thank him enough for the outcome of my facelift, neck lipo and blepharoplasty, he has taken years off my face, and left me looking natural and refreshed. The whole process went smoothly with no complications and was much easier than anticipated. Dr swerdloff was always available to answer questions pre and post op and his staff are friendly and very helpful. I would highly recommend this doctor for any facial procedures, my friends have already booked their appointments with him after seeing his work.

This doctor did a horrific job on my face lift and what was supposed to be a neck lift. He falsified my medical records to cover it up. I now have deformities I never had before and gave him my savings. I have gotten nothing but lies from him. Do not make my mistake. His plastic surgery credential is not even recognized the the Board of Plastic Surgery. His behavior is not normal.

I interviewed four plastic surgeons before deciding on dr Swerdloff. Very natural results which is what I wanted. The staff and Dr were wonderful

I had a Blepharoplasty surgery done by Dr. Swerdloff in May. I am writing this now because everyone said give it some time I DID! I have contacted there main administrator with a letter of complaint with no results. In my initial consult he had recommended other procedures non that I wanted or could afford, all I wanted was to see better... My procedure was covered by my insurance, While under the knife I said something to him about the fat removal and he said to me "oh no your insurance doesn't cover that" In talking to my insurance comp. (after surgery ) on what was covered they said removal of the excess skin replacement of the mussel if need be and also the fat removal. At my fallow up I asked him (to see what he would say) if it was not covered why he didn't not offer it to me with all the other offered procedures he said why would I you didn't want anything else done either. At that point I told him what I knew to be true. He didn't offer it to be because he couldn't charge… me and my insurance. (Dlb dipping) he didn't do what he was paid to do because he wasn't making what he would from someone walking off the street!! he did the bare minimum what he felt his time was worth to make his money!!! he told me NUMEROUS times how much he wasn't making from my insurance. What doctor says that to a patient!!? I AM NOT HAPPY WITH MY EYES... Had I paid out of pocked I'm sure he would have done it differently.. be careful if your going in under insurance make sure you know what your getting. I am filling a complaint with my insurance as well. I will tell everyone I know about SWERDLOFF!!!!

Dr. Swerdloff performed a brow lift on me 13 years ago and it still looks fabulous. There were no post op complications and minimal bruising. When I fist met him I thought I only needed to have my eyes done to achieve the results I was after. He recommended I get a brow lift too. I didn’t feel he was trying to up-sell me on his services. He was thorough in his explanation as to why I needed it. Boy was I happy I listened to his professional opinion. I have referred many friends to him and they are all happy with the results. I’m now ready for more facial improvements and would only consider him as my plastic surgeon.

More pain than considered normal, still in discomfort after a year. He doesn't seem to take it seriously. I would choose a different Dr. if I could go back in time.

Long waits of over an hour in his office. Not happy with results.

I am very happy with the results of my lift and lower eye surgery and I am only a month out, so more improvement to come. I was very happy with my after care.
