Dr. Jason Joseph Van Eyk, MD

I began to see Dr. Van Eyk and one of the other nurses, Jacqueline Mawoneke. They really helped me though any anxious moments, that may or may not turn into a panic attack. Overall, this is the best, most professional, doctors office I’ve been into.

My father has seen Dr. Van Eyk several times. On each visit he has been aloof, difficult to communicate with, and slow to provide assistance. He goes thu a typical visit hunched over the computer terminal, never facing family or patient. Between visits, good luck getting a message to him thru uncaring, rude staff. Our home health workers say his office is the worst in slow turn around. It’s as if he is mad at the world sometimes.

I have been a patient of his since he first came to Asheboro. I have a very difficult medical history and Dr. Van Eyk has always been excellent to work with, especially with the specialists I have. Always thorough and always desires to help. There have been a number of times he has gone over and beyond what you would expect from a doctor. Having him as a doctor has greatly aided my difficult situation. Thank you Dr Van Eyk.

Office staff is not concerned with patient’s well-being and if you need something done and I timely manner this facility is not the place for you there is no such thing as a follow up and when you need assistance they have their clueless on what to do

I dislike Dr. V.E.’s office manner (very distant and superior) and his habit of promising to refill prescriptions and then, when you find out he left 2 or 3 off, you have to call and wait 2-3 days before his staff gets back to you. His office receptionist, Cr*st*l, has terrible manners and is often rude when I call about an office mistake or omission. The office manager and rn’s and pa’s are quite nice and competent and you can tell they are aware of Dr. Van Eyk’s shortcomings.
