Dr. Jason Daniel Vargas

If you chose not to circumcise your baby beware! Dr. Vargas wrongfully manipulates foreskin and gives outdated advice for cleaning an intact boy. If you tell him no he'll put his hands on your son again to show you it's gentle and tell you it's necessary for cleaning. This is INCORRECT! ONLY CLEAN WHAT IS SEEN! There's no reason to pull back or manipulate the foreskin of a baby or young child. It doesn't matter how "gentle" he is, this is a dangerous practice. I was wrong to assume the Doctors in this office were all up to date on intact care. I assumed they were because our previous Doctor was amazing, but he recently retired. We won't be returning to this office.

Dr Vargas is great with my son, and helps put my mind at ease when it comes to the care of my child. He is very thorough in the way he practices and explains everything to me. Sent my son for STAT labs and x-rays and actually called same day to follow up with results. I couldn't ask for a better doctor when it comes to the care of my son!

I love this mans "art" of healing which he provides, my only regret is that he has chosen to work for Cactus Children Hospital. He is the caliber of man who should have his own practice which is governed according to the wisdom and kindness that is in him, but instead he works for this faceless company who handles people like numbers. He is a vaccine friendly doctor who invests sincere interest in your child's health and wellbeing and offered the best advice he knows of to assist families in making those important decisions about their children.

Dr. Vargas is the BEST doctor. There is a wait to see him but is so worth it. Love his personality, the way he talk to parents makes everything so super easy to understand. I've been taking my 2 kids to this office for about 10 yrs now. I love all the staff here very helpful and friendly. Dr. Vargas is the best in Phoenix.

We love Dr. Vargas! He really takes his time with us each time we are there. He does with all his patients so yes there can sometimes be a bit of a wait but it's totally worth it. Great to talk to, makes things easy for us parents to understand and works to make you feel comfortable with your little one is sick. HIGHLY recommend him!!

Dr. Vargas was the doctor we original saw in the hospital when our daughter was born. We like his bedside manner there and decided to keep with him as our main peditrician and have been seeing him for almost a year. We are about to have a 2nd baby this fall and we'll be taking the new baby to see him as well. He is very caring and will spend as much time with you during a visit as it takes to answer any questions your have to explain things. Appointments are easy to get but when you go in you do tend to wait a while to see him but that's because he takes his time with each patient. Something we really like. We never feel like we are rushed through the visit so he can run to the next patient. I highly recommend him!!!
